We have good young talent, period. And he wasn't brought here to be our head coach, so bringing up his record is pretty irrelevant. He isn't here for X's and O's. If his one skill as a coach blends in well with Walton's, then im good. We'll see.

Why else would you bring him other than being the fallback guy then? My question is what are the X's and O's? Vivek wants to play fast then brings in another dude who has hovered near the bottom in PACE his whole coaching career although he did finally turn the Pels into a barn burner at the end. On the positive side both Luke and Gentry have had fast paced teams. Waltons half court sets have always been garbage though.

So much for that "no one wants to come to Sacramento" foolishness. We have nice young talent and Gentry should know that as well as anyone. We always gave his teams hell

We darn well know why he came here over a better position with the Sixers. If he were concerned about being an assistant you go with the team that has the more established position and coach. This position provides much better "opportunity to advance".

Yeah, but when you're an organization that doesn't create any semblance of trust that perpetually blunders every relationship from the FO on down while never picking a side and when they do it's to lop off both arms then you, well... will be the Sacramento Kings.
