sacramento, where we do everything the toughest way possible.
So that when other teams rebuild ahead of us with useful players that fit, you can at least tell kigns opponents that we didn't finish last for the division? You're going for a symbolic victory, I'm going for a strategic long term victory. This is horrible for us.

You're right it means nothing, while a couple extra ping pong balls could mean everything.
Well my point was that if we are not going to separate from CLE at all we might as well win a game for our guys' sake. It's flawed logic but I meant it more as optimism for our team, o depressing one. Lol
You guys are crazy if you didn't want to win this one! Come back to reality, Kings and draft lottery don't mix after all.
THANK YOU!!!!! I am as fed up with people and their stupid "lins and wosses" as I am with the Maloofs. We'll get a good draft pick; it's a good draft pool this year. Right now, I WANT MY TEAM TO WIN!!!
I think respect needs to go both ways. Some of the posts from fans calling for losses need to really tone down the aggressiveness. At the same time, wanting us to have a better shot at mkg or davis doesn't mean people are "stupid". If you want to adress people not respecting each other on the board, please do so as it makes this a better site. But don't sink to the level of a few people that don't know how to post a different opinion in a respectful way.
I've shown more respect and restraint that ever should be required. I'm sorry if my own outburst of passion offends you. People do NOT need to pollute the game thread, long a traditional way for Kings fans to share the excitement of the game with other fans when we cannot be at the arena in person, with talk about the POSSIBLE impact on a future draft pick. They really don't. It's pure lunacy anyway, since anyone still believing the worst record gets us a better draft pick hasn't been playing attention.
I will not apologize for my passion for my Kings or my enthusiasm for the game.
I'd have to double-check, but I think that there have been as many teams to win the lottery with the 14th-worst record as have won the lottery with the worst record. Hell, look at the Kings history alone: the year we won the lottery, we had the sixth-worst record, and the year that we had the worst record, we ended up with, mathematically speaking, the worst pick we could have possibly ended up with.Yeah, because the worst team always gets the best draft pick, right? This is beyond bizarre. It's a crap shoot, dude. And it's then. This is NOW and I want a win! If you don't, at least have a tiny bit of respect for those who still care about the game.
