Does anybody besides me prefer to eat Whopper sandwiches without cheese? I actually think that cheese ruins them.

This is funny. I couldnt disagree more. For whatever reason, I cant eat a burger ( of any kind from anywhere ) without cheese. Ehh, that might not be completely true. I COULD eat one, but I would never prefer a hamburger over a cheeseburger. Im more of a big mac than whopper guy ( although I rarely have either ) but cheese is a must.
It's the mayonnaise, I think: sandwiches with mayonnaise should not have cheese on them.
Blashphemy!!! My hamburgers consits of only meat, bun and mayo (sandwiches too). If I'm feel like something diffferent I'll add cheese and maybe bacon.Which is exactly why one should never eat anything with mayonnaise on it. Cheese. The tasty topping that beats mayonnaise like a red-headed stepchild.
I don't eat hamburgers, period, unless their White Castles, and I haven't had one of those since the last time I was in Detroit, in 2007. I'm a cheeseburger guy, mayo or not. If I want something different, I'll get a burger with pepper jack cheese.
You're in SoCal and you don't eat In and Out?![]()

I love In-N-Out. I miss In-N-Out. Stopping by for a Double Double and chocolate shake was one of the last and most important things I did before leaving California.
I've heard nothing but good things about Five Guys, but the 70-mile drive to Baton Rouge is the closest I've ever been to one.
I'm generally not that big a fast food fan, but I made a Rally's stop the other day since it's the first time in almost 20 years that I've lived close to one. That was a tasty burger and fries.
The only thing I ever liked about In-N-Out was their shakes. The rest I could take or leave. When I was in LA I'd rather go to Tommy's.
OK, so what is the In-n-Out fascination? I still can't figure it out. The burgers are really only *slightly* better than McDonalds. Their shakes and fries are OK. I just don't get it.....
I eat cheeseburgers, not hamburgers. That's what I meant. I should own stock at In and Out with all the money I've spent there.
I wouldn't say I normally go for chili burgers but I could never turn down a Tommy Burger.
Although I try to avoid Carl's Jr these days I like my burgers more in the style of a Western Bacon Chee, though I'll swap out the onion rings for some criss cut fries. I am really trying to ditch fast food since I have had a bad year for weight gain![]()
It must be an issue of taste. McDonald's is the nastiest fast food ever, so to compare it to In-N-Out is sort crazy. Not sort of, really crazy.
Oh, well in that case I present to you the mother of all cheeseburgers courtesy of Sacramento's very own The Squeeze Inn

I think people feel really cool when they order off the menu. That's about the only thing I can figure out. Like animal style is some secret club. I don't think the fries are anything special and while I do like the shakes you can get real ice cream shakes at other places with better burgers. My wife and I always fight this out when visiting the family because she has to eat there and I have about a dozen places I need to eat in CA too.OK, so what is the In-n-Out fascination? I still can't figure it out. The burgers are really only *slightly* better than McDonalds. Their shakes and fries are OK. I just don't get it.....
Gotta admit, I don't understand the popularity of In-and-Out.Californians have no taste: I mean, yeah, McDonald's is awful, but In-N-Out is ****, too.

Yeah there was one next to the studio I worked at and I guess I managed to get it out of my system and actually found myself going to Del Taco of all places with alarming frequency.I used to work around the corner from one, so I'd be there all the time.
