Ahh man...this is so weird. Just before the game, I personally met the Kings team (Peja, Cat, and Thomas are the nicest by far, Corliss is funny, Brad is visibly showing his dissapointment and Mike ignored me altogether) I then wished Peja some luck on tonight's game and said "Good luck on the game tonight Peja! Beat the Lakers for all us Kings fans and dont get hurt for the playoffs!" He then smiled and walked off. I cant help but feel that i mega mega ultimate jinxed that one.

I was at this game and I must have been pre-occupied for a frew seconds because I didnt even see Peja get hurt or leave to the locker room. My group and I just noticed later that he was gone. Im worried how we are going to match up tomorrow. KT needs to have another 32 point game. By the way did I mention Lakers suck.

Ofcourse I put my predictions in for the Suns game days ago figuring to myself "well I don't think anybody will get injured by then" I had Peja for points leader...so much for that idea
The tennis player, Gustavo Guga Kuerten, had the same groin injury and he never won a major ever again. Conclusion: Peja will never be a force in tennis ever again.
But seriously: they planned this. They wanted to see how the other Kings would play w/o Peja, plus they wanted to get him really fresh for the playoffs. He'll be like Fisher, shooting thousands of 3s while resting. By the time the playoffs start, he'll be a machine. Result: Kings win the championship.

Well i asked a couple people about this,(relatives, hospital) and they said that it'll keep you out for about less than a week. From what i heard... its a light strain, so it'll just keep peja out for the rest of the post season. Peja will be back for sure. Now the thing is... will this ruin our positioning in the playoffs? Will Bobby actually be back for our last game of the season? (which might even decide our final standing) Is it a good thing because it might bring us to the 6th spot we've all been wishing for? or the opposite...? we'll have to wait and see...

Man! Well, what a perfect way to end a season of injury-riddled Kings basketball! I think by now I've almost come to expect it, and brace myself for it at every game. Hopefully Peja heals quickly and in the process of not playing doesn't slip back into not being in game-shape too much. GET BETTER SOON PEJA!! WE NEED YOU!

i juz beat the suns in espn nba 2k5 with the peja less kings with bibby hitting a three to win the game with 0.3 secs left in the game!!!!!!!!!!!
bibby shot the lights out in the fourth qtr going 4/5 frm beyond the arc scoring 28 ots overall on 11-18 shooting!!!! mobley added 43pts 3 assists and 4 stls on 15-25 shooting!!!
119-120 KINGS WIN!!!!
darius came up big scoring 18pts on 9-13 shotting and he grabbed 12 boards!!! but greg entered the game when we were getting kicked on the boards at the start of the 4th qtr and he grabbed 8 rebs with 4 being offensive boards and he scored 4 pts as well both on dunks!!!
LET THIS BE A SIGN!!!! GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stand it anymore, this shi% always happens. Why can't Dirk or Duncan gets this type of injury with 3 games left in the season but noooooooo it always has to happen to the Kings.
I would just turn the tv off and wave the white flag but then I remembered we have the Big Nasty that can step in and start until Peja is back. Williamson should give us some good inside play and rebounding, so I can now put down the sharp object and continue watching.

OK, what's up with all these injuries that are happening with absolutely no contact? Nothing spectacular or awkward was done, all he did was shoot a jump shot! Now we're going to have 3 key players returning from injuries for the playoffs...that first game may be a little sloppy.
