New Kings fan.

hey guys new kings fan from Seattle. How you guys doing down there? :)

We welcome new fans from everywhere, but please don't be somebody from Seattle concerned with either gloating about our arena situation, or plotting about how the Kings are going to move to Seattle.

I'll tell you this early that the paranoia you smell from the first 3 response are nothing more than the manifestation of overwhelming excitement we are feeling towards the very promising team we have right now.

Welcome and enjoy your stay with your fellow Kings fans !

Dude! Loooong time Kings fan here, from sac, fan since 85, when I was 9, grandfather had season tickets, went all the time, now living on the Eastside, Bellevue. I know no other kf's around here. There may be times when it would be appropriate that we hang out, have a drink, and watch the Kings.

Welcome to the board. I'm kind of the resident *******, but I'm very honest, and often correct.

What's your story?

Wow- had no clue you lived in the area. I actually lived in Kirkland for 4 years (2004-2008). I now live in Virginia. Grew up in the Sacramento area, and am now resigned to seeing the Kings in person once a year, for their trip out to play the Wizards...

I'm from Virginia as well, born and raised. Im stuck to seeing the Kings once a year as well, however in Charlotte instead of Washington

Huh. Interesting. I moved out here three years ago from Colorado. I actually work in Kirkland. I manage the GNC in downtown Kirkland in Parkplace center. Do you know it?

Too bad you're not still here or YOU might be the person required to drink tequila and watch the kings with me.

Welcome to the board from a SoCal Kings fan and ex-Kings season ticket holder 1990-97 before moving. We have organized quite a local group down here to go to Clippers games (we can't afford to go to Laker games as a group) when the Kings are in town. In Feb this year we had 28 in the group to a game and for a December game may get 15-20. Maybe you can tie in with the Portland KingsFans and pop down for a game or two? Good luck and welcome again.

Welcome Nap206. Always glad to have more fans on the board. :)

I've lived in and around Sacramento for 40+ years and am pretty fanatical about our Kings.

Part of this quote is true. I won't go into specifics..:D

Welcome aboard. Hopefully its a long stay...

I thought I was the biggest ****head around here?

Well I suppose I could surrender the biggest ****head title, as you have it on a technicality, I guess. But I'm sticking to resident ******* ... I don't know, I kinda like it. Would anyone else like to claim a position as a way to introduce yourself to the new guy?

You know, as a contributing member, you could actually put that under your name. Just a friendly reminder to help out with this site we all enjoy.

my 2cents,... this was a troll and will never post again....... and boy do we sound desperate for fans..........

Man I was sure I would get a big "GET THE *^%$ out of here!!!. turns out you all are pretty nice people. I must admit I was being a troll, I am so sad that my Sonics are gone it hurts. After reading all your comments I am even more sad that many of you are probably going to be feeling the same way I feel. I hope not and the true fans of the kings get a new arena..:) I will say this.

1. if we had leadership like you guys have in Kevin Johnson then my team would still be in Seattle.
2. If the owners were as good as the owners of the Kings they would have never sold to the Okies in the first place.

Kings fans I will pray for you, but at the end of the day evil David Stern will get what he wants and unfortunately it probably is going to be the kings moving out of town. If that happens I like the rest of you will never watch another Kings game again.

Hate to say it, but as a Seattle resident, I wouldn't mind if the Kings went north. I'll follow the team if it's in Sac, or Sea, but F-em if they go elsewhere.

If you hear on the radio that the (wherever) Kings have a 40-point lead over OKC, and you're not totally boycotting the NBA, feel free to watch the end of the game, with our blessing. As disgusted as most of us were with how Seattle was treated, we're still not going to root for the Lakers when they're playing OKC, so it comes out even.

Well... I venture to say that many Kings fans would remain loyal to the Kings: reason being the owners have tried everything, begged, borrowed, and pleaded to try to get a deal done, and the mayor is doing so also. So it's not like we are being screwed over by bad owners or a bad mayor. There are other circumsatances, many of which lie outside the Sacramento city limits.

Also, the Kings, due to the international makeup of the glory years, have a good number of international fans, and will likely retain those fans, and also fans like me, who grew up in Sac, but don't live there anymore. I'll follow them even if they move... would prefer they didn't change their name and colors though like the Sonics. But if they moved to Seattle... that would actually be great for me. Don't think so as the NBA is not likely to come back to this city.
