Admit it

The issue when bringing up the Fox for Sabonis deal is that the Pacers did NOT want Fox in return. I am not convinced that we would've received as good of a return for Fox as we did for Haliburton, even if that 2nd team was not Indiana, and the player we received in return for Fox was not Sabonis.

I'm more inclined to believe that the Beam Team would've never been had Fox been dealt instead of Hali.
I still believe the decision at the time was Hali for Domas vs. Fox for Randle….just a hunch on my part. At that point the rumors were that Fox didn’t have great value around the league so it would have been a little bit of both the Knicks and Kings hitting a change a scenery reset on those two players. I don’t think that would have been a popular trade for Kings fans at the time, but I always wonder if that would have worked out better. Hali/Randle and assume we still get Keegan as now a SF/wing. Fill the center spot with more of a defensive anchor.

Geoff referred to Vivek as a "Dismissive little chap" I believe after they met.

This is not to take anything away from Vivek for saving the Sacramento Kings. He did it and said they are OUR Kings.

Full quote was “ a very arrogant and dismissive little chap," I’d add, thin skinned and not as rich as the other 29 owners.
