I care about backing up an argument. You said he's improved his jumper. I'm asking point blank what you are basing that on. By all accounts, he hasn't improved at all. He still doesn't take them, and still isn't hitting them more consistently.

Tyreke's last 2 fouls were just dumb.. His 5th comes 5 seconds after he enters the game, and the 6th he runs thru a defender 1 on 3. He has to know Telfair is going to try to take him out of the game right there.

So far this season he's shooting .489, .400 from 3pt land. Not going to go deeper than that. The game is still on. Much better 3pt numbers though.

I still think his jumper is improved. What are all the accounts he hasnt improved his jumper? It looks better, he IS shooting more now than he was early last year. I have no problem with the frequency right now. As he will ALWAYS he a better driver than shooter.

I want him to add to his repertoire so he can have more options and make better decisions. Right now, his options are to drive and kick, or drive and try to score. He needs to incorporate more into his game so that he won't have games like these where he's so limited offensively by what the defense is doing. He needs to make teams find and answer to him, instead of him searching for an answer to what the defense is doing.

This is an easy game for your argument, but this may have been the least effective game of his career. He is a very effective player. And you could say "He needs to incorporate more into his game" about every player in the league. Sure he does. No argument there. He DOES make teams search for answers to his game .. I dont know why you think he doesnt. He just didnt have it offensively from the get go tonight, but I have seen many teams make changes because of what he is doing to their defense.

Except when he's drawing charges and getting foul trouble, like tonight. Good call.

Way to base your entire "He isnt any better than last season" argument on one game! good call! Yes, he needs to work on the offensive fouls. Even still, he is far more likely to find an open man/score/draw the foul then get called for the charge. They got him tonight, hats off to them.
