Ice Cold right now.
And this is the part that fanboys love to disregard: the pedestal came first. As I said above, if some people would quit trying to constantly put IT on a pedestal, others wouldn't have to try so hard to knock said pedestal down.
Yep, IT is always the issue on this forum. The reality is that the whole team is the reason for the losses, not just one player. I think IT could be a top PG in the league if he ever learns how play his position. With that said, I have been pretty pissed at IT here on this forum before, but tonight he's been playing goodRudy deserves a lot more criticism than Thomas tonight. Want to talk about forced shots? Almost all of Gay's shots have been heavily guarded attempts.

Yea i guess you're right. 6 TO's per game and <50% shooting from a starting PG would be the recipe for an extremely successful teamI don't think you know that much about basketball.
....ridiculous. Gay demands the ball as soon as IT brings it up.. what does Gay do? He dribbles down 20s while his teammates are running around and he decides to take a contested jumper... You can't blame his 6-21 shooting. You obviously have some grudge against IT. Gay forces up a lot of his shots.True, but I'd then ask, "why isn't anyone creating better looks for him within the offense?"
Does our PG not have a responsibility to get our #1 option out there better looks so he doesn't have to force? Rudy generally doesn't force when he's being set up.
What exactly is good about 7ast 6to and NO defense, from your POINT GUARD?With that said, I have been pretty pissed at IT here on this forum before, but tonight he's been playing good
IT is playing good D and Offense tonight, but as usual, we don't have a PG and everyone looks lost.In all fairness, Rudy looks best when he's paired with Cousins. Right now he's trying to figure out his role, something that's nearly impossible because - uh oh, I'm gonna get in trouble - the point guard on the court isn't playing like a point guard should. Case in point? IT running around dribbling until he almost loses the ball and then kicks it to Rudy, expecting Rudy to do something with only three seconds left on the shot clock. In that particular instance, Rudy did - I think - make the shot but that's not the kind of teamwork you want to see and it's certainly not something you can develop a rhythm with.

Dude, from a Defensive and Offensive standpoint. Read post # 310What exactly is good about 7ast 6to and NO defense, from your POINT GUARD?

Only thing ridiculous here is your reply which makes little sense.....ridiculous. Gay demands the ball as soon as IT brings it up.. what does Gay do? How come no one wants to point out the terrible pass by Gay yet will crucify every little small thing IT does?
IT has played some solid minutes a good part of the season, yet this PG skills don't seem to be improving. I guess he is destined to be a spark plug off the bench for his entire careerEXACTLY! And it happens all the time. IT gets his - and the fanboys rejoice - but the team loses and nobody seems to know what's going on.
The Kings reward Jimmer with 4 minutes of playing time after his career night vs the Knicks. Smh

Rudy is getting shots up but he's hasn't gotten the ball much where he operate best. Part is no Boogie, part is on him not getting better position, part is also the poor sets we're running and IT giving it to him in poor spots at times. IT sure hasn't created easy looks for Rudy tonight for the most part. And my counter, for better or worse, will always be that Thomas isn't THAT good. I think he IS good, but he's not perfect. I don't know how realistic expecting more than 24 + 7 with .500 shooting is. Rudy is perfectly capable of getting himself going, and playing better than he has tonight. We've seen him play better without Cousins / with Thomas before. He can do it, He's talented enough to do it .. he's clearly getting the shot opportunities, he's just taking extremely low percentage shots or forcing contact and the refs aren't biting.
I just can't blame Thomas for everything. The point guard is important, yes, but he is not supposed to take responsibility for the play of everyone else on the roster. That isn't how PG's are graded everywhere else. Is it all Jrue Holidays fault the Pelicans suck? How about Ty Lawson? Rubio? Kyrie? etc. I wouldn't put that much pressure on anyone.
