[Game] Kings v. Thunder - Wednesday, Dec. 19 - 7PT/10ET

For some reason I really REALLY want this game. I'm full expecting the Kings to show massive fight tonight. No managing minutes, we've got rested guys and we've got bench guys that just tested the gas pedal the other night. No excuses here at all. I also expect Doug to have an epic game at the table as well. Counting on you Big D. BRING THAT INTENSITY!!

It is mildly comforting to me to know Boggy has a sore foot. He has been playing so poorly over the last three games, my faith and confidence in him might have been shaken if he was fully healthy. If you have a bad foot, it is hard to get your base underneath you to make your shots. So that would explain perhaps why he has been spraying open shots lately. He's 7 for 31 FGs over his last three games for 22.6%. Yikes!

The Thunder have NO back-up PG with Felton and Schroeder suspended. :p . But we are missing almost 30 points with MB3 and Boggy out. Where are those points going to come from? They have to come from somewhere for us to win. The most logical and likely place is Mason and / or Yogi who can exploit the Thunder lack of a back-up PG. So for us to win, I think these guys need to have games.

Just saw Shroeder is out for the Thunder tonight due to suspension:) that may help a bit

Between Shroeder and Westbrook, Thunder have to have the jerkiest back court in the league.

Edit: just watched video of the fracas... Looks like Dunn was the one who instigated it by shoving Westbrook and all Shroeder did was leave the bench, getting himself the automatic one game suspension.

But I stand by my statement nonetheless!

I'm not worried about the points deficit of the Kings because of the injuries. I'm much more worried about the defensive grit deficit. JJ, WCS and Williams are going to have to find the defensive grit to win this game. If I'm the Thunder I'm driving to the paint like nobody's business, just driving relentlessly, just like we saw with the Wolves, assuming there is going to be nobody there to take a charge or get a block. If, instead, Westbrook and George are out there taking 17 foot pull ups I'll be thanking my lucky stars.

Good point. Wouldn't be surprised if we give them open 3's to mitigate this.

This is Fox's last game as a 20 year old. His Birthday is tomorrow, or for me here on the east-coast, at the end of the game.

Over/Under on number of times Grant gets out "Can you believe this kid is ONLY TWENTY YEARS OLD?!?!" tonight: 6.5

I would prefer not to be blown out tonight.

Can’t say I expect a win with the injuries.
