[Game] Kings v. Thunder - Wednesday, Dec. 19 - 7PT/10ET

Well I think that’s it for us. Willie decided that he was going to hand over his manhood to Adams tonight and play like an idiot so now we are down 18. Nice.

Wow. And I get flack for criticizing Ben McLemore, who helped give the lead to OKC in the first place?

Steven Adams has made a career of destroying opposing centers. If I recall, he did pretty well against DMC, too. But hey - it's all WCS's fault.

Our bench obviously needs a lot of work, particularly when we are missing some key guys. Tough for these players to come in without playing serious minutes in a long time, and having to go against a good team, but they need to grab their chance when they get it (Skal, it's you I'm talking about. Show that you belong).

What pluses does Ben bring to the team? I cannot think of even one.

He’s a 12th man. He’s ahouldn’t be expected to bring much of anything except a good attitude (seems to have) a live body in practice (assume he has by all accounts he’s a practice all-star).

Forced into action because of a run of injuries, seems like it’s just wrong to jump all over him, especially in a game he did very little wrong.

I get not liking a players game. I get it. There’s guys on this team I don’t want to watch play, but there’s a diffence between expressing that and being mean-spirited about it. Idk...

Be honest. The only reason you're saying anything is because Ben is a longtime favorite of yours. But whatever... I'm gonna leave this to the rest of you and sit back and hope the second half is better than this.

GO KINGS!!!

Well, when the opposing center beats you to the rebound, out of position I might add, on 3 straight free throw misses, then yes it’s Willie’s fault. I don’t like Ben as a player but he gets paid to ride the bench and that’s his role. He came out in the first quarter only because we are down 3 guys. I don’t expect him to play well. But Willie? Yes I do. He wants bagz he better earn it.

Wow. Adams just used his off-arm to move WCS out of the way and nobody says a word.

I saw it, was BS. But My guess is the fans are a little put off by him loafing around after the ball out there and just his overall look of disinterest tonight.

Yeah, I have a soft-spot for McBen.

Does his game warrant criticism? Yes.

Did he live up to his draft position? No.

Is he ever going to help this team meaningfully? No.

Did he do anything wrong that “helped give OKC the lead” tonight? No. Absolutely not. McBen could save a puppy from a burning building and he’d be shamed for tracking ashes onto the front porch.

Coach ride the bench too long and we just lost momentum

There are two running themes this year. When they avoid pick and roll opting to run high post offense 4 failed possessions in a row instead, and the starters stay out a bit long and come in against a warmed up opponent the wild swings occur.

I do think they still look a little tired. I'd be really interested to see what their practice schedule has been like.

After the first few minutes of the game when the Thunder were taking outside shots, their coach took a TO and told their guys to attack the paint. Every since that point, it's been a downhill ride for the Kings.

Kings better man-up. It's pretty embarrassing so far.
