I seriously question Rudy still being in the game.
Just what is Malone thinking?

Watch Royce check in with 27 seconds left
Guess we won't be seeing White at all this year. Not gonna be a better opportunity than the game we just watched. My mind is boggled
How does having one's mind being boggled feel?
Ugh. Cardinal mistake for Kayte. Very uncharacteristic of her.

The bolded part is what I was referring to. It's not a particularly egregious statement, but it's not entirely accurate, either.God, I love Kayte. Interviewing DMC, she says, "I want you to elaborate on what's going through your mind as you're literally running point, handling the ball in transition, taking it full court and getting a dunk. There's not any center in the league that can do that.
There might be other forces at play here. He might be saying what the FO wants to hear, then doing what he wants as coach.Malone just consistently does the exact opposite of what he says he's going to do.
He says Orlando Johnson is going to get an opportunity, he barely plays in two weeks. He says he's going to cut Thomas' minutes because of the wrist + fatigue, he doesn't. Say's Royce White is going to play, Kings up by 40, still on the bench.
I guess we have to condition ourselves to stop taking what he says as truth. Some coaches do this, by the way. Bill Belichick is a habitual liar.
He took the ball out well. Jogs well like last time. No noticeable sweating. Good game for Royce.
Pretty clos to true. Noah can do it, but he is nowhere near the ballhandler so he isn't going to do it effectively in traffic. The bolded part is what I was referring to. It's not a particularly egregious statement, but it's not entirely accurate, either.

I take it as more evidence the FO and Malone are not on the same page. That's a growing concern to me. June/July will tell us a lot.
