[Game] Kings v. Bucks, 3/23/14, 3PM PDT, 6 PM EDT

I'm watching the Bucks feed. Hilariously biased announcing.

"This is going to be a different game by halftime.." and "We are playing just as well as them."

....Um, when you are down 21 pts after the 1st quarter...No, you are not playing "just as well" as the other team.

Yep. Good for the soul. :)

Good grief. This is the nightmare Brick warned us about...officials totally destroying the ebb and flow of the game by taking way too much time to review a play. I will not think it's a coincidence that my favorite official is out there today. I wonder if Vlade left her a message? (Story about Vlade and Violet Palmer available upon request...I think most old-timers know it.)

That was interesting: a shot by Outlaw compared to a shot by Gay. One clanked and the other was a totally smooth shot that swished.

I missed the incident, what happened?

Frustrating that D-Will is frozen out of the offense for such long stretches. Makes it virtually impossible for him to get any flow/rhythm

Well, that's kind of his move... Tragically, that can also be said for 5-7 other guys on the roster, too. That's a big part of why our record is so poor.

The record difference between the Bucks and Kings may not be so different but we are seeing the difference that will exist in the w/l record next year. We are set well for a few pieces to be added and subtracted to work around Rudy and Cuz. The Bucks are still looking for their star quality player while we have two. (Define "star" any way you wish)

In 2002, the Kings were at home playing (I think) the Mavericks. Violet Palmer was one of the officials and it was clear she was trying to prove herself worthy. She was calling everything on everybody, but seemed to be more determined to show she wasn't afraid to call fouls on the stars, focusing on Dirk, Webber and Vlade. Vlade tried making light of a couple of calls, but you could tell he was a bit frustrated when he got nailed with a couple he really didn't think he deserved. Late in the game, Vlade went to the bench for a short breather. The next play, at our end of the court, there was a foul under the basket. Violet, her voice full of authority, called out the foul on the Kings and indicated "Number 21"... Then the moment I will never forget. Vlade stood up from the bench, waved to get Palmer's attention, and politely asked what foul he had committed.

"her voice full of authority" :D

The day will come when people on the forum and on the Kings will have to acknowledge that Ben has some use on the Kings. He has shown significant improvement in the last several weeks.

His shot consistency is definitely coming around. Even his misses are a lot closer

I think Ben McLemore has use on the Kings. I think he could end up being as much a shooter as Kevin Martin. I think too much pressure has been put on him in the starter slot. He'll grow into his role, just like Kevin did.

I am not over this announcer worship and it has nothing to do with IT except that he is the object of their affection. When Jerry says that the Bucks can't control the Big Three and Ben is outscoring IT, who is he referring to? Perhaps this is petty but then we all get petty every once in a while.

I feel sorry for the Bucks. I feel sorry for their fans. That's us without Cousins. Vivek Ranadive and Kevin Johnson.
