[Game] Kings @ Trailblazers 27 Dec 2200 EST

this awesome is gut wrencing to watch. its too bad we don't have any players who can create when the defense stiffles up, except possibly demarcus but he's out so that point is moot.

Westphals rotations and coaching style are not conducive to winning, passing, and team basketball. At least not right now.

They're conducive to high draft picks. Maybe the FO wants one more young star before the "Here We Rise" phase really kicks in.

this ones on westphal, wtf was that lineup in the last half of the 3rd, you cant play that much small ball at the rose garden, and outlaws garbage imo

Tyreke is going to have rough nights all season if he's asked to play small forward against guys stronger and longer than him, and if he's asked to play more off ball than on ball as a jump shooter. We used Jimmer as a creator and Tyreke as a shooter this game, it's baffling.

Our Coach is Westphal...Mystery solved!

Lots of overreaction in this thread. The Laker game was great but this is still a young team and half of the roster wasn't here last year. it's going to take awhile to gel. Good first half, bad second half. Hard to win a game when your two leading scorers are no shows.

Westphal expected Reke/MT/DMC to take over in the 4th. It doesn't work like that when you don't give them time to build momentum in the game.

And the hell is Thomas still on the floor? Way too many minutes to these rookies.

Kings getting routed now.

Just imagine how good the Kings would be with a real coach. Plenty of talent and ability, going in the wrong direction. A real coach seems to be the missing piece of the puzzle.

gotta give props to Portland. they are some hard working scrappy mofos. just some stifling defense on their part.

Seriously. The lineups Westphal is putting out there are creating killer matchups for the other team. My favorite was Jimmer guarding Batum. What a good idea to have Jimmer guarding someone 7 inches taller than him. He really is setting guys up for failure with the lineups.
