No long narrative or awards or anything... Just starting the thread for the diehard fans (:) ) still hanging around to talk about this team - and what could easily end up being the most depressing road trip of the season.

What evil fiend in the front office decided it would be good to schedule the Kings for a 4 in 5 trip to the east AND have them play the Celtics as the anchor game the night after they play the Cavaliers??? Especially evil was the comment I heard after the Celtics totally wiped the floor with the Mavericks... "Now the Celtics get a couple of day's rest before they face the Kings on Wednesday." Yeah, I'm sure they're really worried about not having fresh legs to face us. :rolleyes:

Seeing the Celtics punish Dallas brought a real smile to my face. Watching the game currently on ABC, however, is truly enigmatic. I hate both teams. I want both teams to lose.

One other general comment? WHY would ABC opt to use Avery "I talk like a little girl" Johnson as part of the broadcast crew?

A bit of nostalgia: Back in the day, we didn't get to see the Kings play Toronto on the road because there was some glitch between American programming and Canadian programming.

I have been too busy these days. I didn't even have a clue that we are playing this week. I won't be able to do anything this week either. I haven't watched Kings lose since the Wizards game. I almost miss it.

Well, last ngiht was the first time we've played since the Wizards game, so you only missed the one.

And you are truly bailing on some wonderful opportunites for piksiism Tues/Weds when we play the Cavs/Celts back to back.
 
I will try but it doesn't look promising. It takes about 60-90 minutes to put a game thread together and about six pack to forget the beating. It is much easier to check the score and take it as it is. For example, we lost to the Bucks by2 points. That is all I know and I don't want to know more.
 
Oh how I miss my Kings games :(

Ever since I moved to the Bay Area, all I get is KHTK.. starting next season I'm going to invest in League Pass. I would now, but it's sort of late in the year and well , you know..

Anyways! If we can't win a game in America...

...Maybe we'll win one in Canada!!! :p;):p

My NBA audio league pass isn't working.. Does anyone know why it says "Please tune in during broadcast hours"????

This sucks.
 
Bobby Brown looked okay in his limited time thus far.

As far as Mikki coming in, I think it was primarily because of Hawes' quickly getting into foul trouble AND sporting the stereotypical "Miller bitter beer face" about it. Of all the things I dearly hope Spencer DOESN'T pick up from Miller, it's the poor pitiful me attitude we sometimes see.
 
I'm seeing such tremendous improvement in JT's overall game. His sweeping the boards and then taking it quickly up court himself in transition is - rather awesome for a 6'11 250 lb PF. I hope he starts getting around 40 mins every night from now on, stays out of foul trouble, and just PLAYS. Another thing I like is he NEVER sulks out on the court - just plays through any little adversity - unlike some Kings sour puss big men.
 
On the bright side, the officials called a HORRIBLE double foul on Miller and he didn't get T'ed up. Small blessings...
 
Forget about that technical Brad didn't get. Garcia made up for it by shoving Bargnani for no apparent reason.

I showed up to watch this one because I wanted to see our PF of the future play. I still am hoping that we land Bosh in about 18 months. That dude needs out of there. Looks like the Kings line-up for 2010-2011 will be:

PG: Ricky Rubio
SG: Kmart
SF: 'Cisco?
PF: Bosh
C: Hawes

I am trying to keep hope alive. ;)
