Not a bad deal in my opinion. I like what I've seen from Solomon Jones. Don't know much about Rush tho.

I hope that isn't true... i think thats a trash deal. Carl is a 18-7 type player, he's just having a rough year on a team in shambles. That is the exact type of trade that have kept us in mediocrity for the last 5 years.

Rush is widely inconsistent player! Very good shooter, good defender but you never know if he is going to show up or not.
I wouldn't mind if we got him because maybe that light comes on eventually BUT I sure hope there is more to the deal than just Brandon Rush

That would be a pipe dream IMHO. I don't think they are yet ready to trade Granger!

Brandon Rush is actually a pretty useful player, still very young in his 3rd season and is a very good shooter (43% 3 shooter and has improved every season. He's got good size for a SG (6'6/6'7), good bball IQ, good defensive ability, and I could see him turning into a Caron Butler type player. Don't sleep on this kid, he's got talent.

Might depend on how high they are on Paul George. He'll be ready to start next year. Will never develop fully with Granger in his way.

Man, I totally agree. After all, we traded our best player at the time Kevin Martin for Carl Landry - of course mainly a salary dump. Still, an argument could be made that Landry has been Kings second or third best player over past two seasons in Sac - especially scoring wise. BRING ON GRANGER - SOMEHOW PLEASE. I might even throw in our #1 pick with Landry for Granger!

Trading our pick is the only way I could see us getting Granger and I reaaaalllly don't see it happening. We aren't getting Granger for Landry+ without giving up that pick.

Landry is no 18 and 7 player for anybody but a deep deep lottery team.
But in any case Brandon Rush would not be a terrible player to acquire for him -- good size, plays defense, can really shoot the three, and was talked about around here as an acquisition back early in the season. You put him next to Reke The biggest thing I worry about with Rush is his head/attitude.

So far New orleans, Portland, OKC, Indiana, and Houston all have interest.
So far best offers are Marcus Thornton. Only players I would like from Pacers are Hibbert, George, and Collison. Granger would be sick but it would include the number one pick.

Its kind of an offense vs. defense thing, but you put Rush and Reke out there deensively at 6'5"/6'7" and you could have a really tough defensive backcourt. You keep Dalembert and Green around to provide defense up front and on the wings, and you could be starting to move toward a good defensive team. You sign Prince in the offeeaon you could actually BE a good defensive team.
In any case, its nto all about scoring average. Rush has 2 of the 3 triats it owul be nice to have out oa guard next to Reke -- defends and shoots threes at a high percentage. He doesn't have the third, which is passing/creativity, but if its him he could be a strong roelplaying addition if his head is in the right place.

Danny Granger is perfect, and I mean perfect vet star (borderline superstar) for Kings to snag - if at all possible. A real solid citizen that the fans would love to death (whatever Kings fans get to see him in purple). I will be drooollling if it happens!!! Fingers crossed!!!
