i think he gets a pass because he's a likeable guy and actually runs a system, but you touch on a good point, with a young team you need accountability and discipline. at some point the buddy buddy i dont want anyones feelings hurt needs to go and he needs to play and grow our best guys. having reke it cuz or mt not playing most or all of the 4th will stunt there growth.

I can't say were playing well, but we are keeping it close enough to the point where if we can figure out how to play basketball in the second half we might have a shot.

Just sick of Smart ignoring poor defense from the same guys, going zone to cover it which isn't working, and then just letting them gun away as if defense doesn't even matter. On top of it, our best players aside from Cuz, IT/Reke are on pace to play below 25 mins while neither is in any kind of foul trouble.
It's asinine.

Uh, why aren't a healthy IT and Reke much closer to Cuz in terms of mins? Why are IT/Reke getting comparable mins to our bench players? TWill played well, but as a SF that should have zero impact on IT/Reke. Run IT/Reke/TWill together.
Why is Smart giving Cuz the mins he deserves, yet not doing the same with IT/Reke? Big time favoritism in that lock room.

Yep. I'm liking Williams more and more, especially if it means fewer minutes for Cisco - bless his heart.
Well IT wasn't really doing much in the 1st quarter. Reke was scoring but blowing some layups, too. The other part of why they had less minutes is because Jimmer was hitting all his shots and TWill was playing very well. The issue is all the minutes for Cisco when he looked lost out there and wasn't hitting much of anything.
Were you watching the defense that IT and Reke were playing in the 1st? It was downright pathetic.
Plus, Williams and Jimmer played great in the 2nd quarter. Smart made the right move
