Kevin had a key steal late in the game. Played the passing lane beautifully. It was immediately after he assisted on Fox’s corner 3 with about 3 minutes left in the game. Yeah he missed that gimme reverse layup but he did some nice things down the stretch
Don't bother, that contingent can't think for themselves with regards to Huerter.

And the reality is that we're in a great position that if Huerter DOES have a sub-par game, we have plenty of options and lineup potentials to turn to. But for now, him with the starters is the best 5-man unit in basketball with lineups over 50 minutes this season. Best DEF Rtg (99.4! You kidding me!), and the 3rd best ORtg (121.8).

The "we're gonna trade Huerter" crowd are just simply in shambles. Monte isn't going to trade off a guy who's 1. producing and 2. Is having tremendous early season success and apart of the best 5-man unit the first 2 weeks of the year.

Hall of Famer
Deebo attacking in the final minutes of a close game >>>>>>>> dying by the 3 like the last few seasons of disappointing losses.

Meanwhile HB is in San Antonio doing his 17 points one game, 2 points the next thing while never playing defense or pulling over 4 boards as a PF.

That big brain clown off-season take that we got worse by landing DDR is aging very poorly!

Good to win and we need to win tomorrow also. These are the kinds of games we lost last year.

But we should also keep perspective until we beat some good teams. We really need Keegan to shoot better from 3,

We actually didn't have much of a problem playing and beating good teams last year. 17-10 vs the top 7 West teams proves that. Like you said, it's these exact sort of games; inferior opponent/down-bad with injury games that really burned us along with just getting roasted by NOP and HOU.

So far, 3-0 vs teams we should beat and are just simply more talented/better than. Good start in that regard. 0-2 vs quality teams, but neither game was "Uh-oh, we simply can't hang" sort of losses. Moreso execution problems on our end.

We shall see. Every year is different. So far we have not beaten a good team in preseason or the first two games.

Five games doesn't a season make.
Look at his playoff numbers.

Rebuild Huerters value then trade him sounds like a sound plan to me.

If the Kings are dominating they likely won't make a deal. Again, Huerter right now is a decent hold onto him and eventually just let him walk candidate. His current contract doesn't interfere with re-signing Fox and Keegan since it comes off that same summer. The question is whether or not a team might come knocking swinging around a first round pick. That might be hard to turn down. Teams are going to need cheaper first round rookie contracts on the back end of their roster if not in starting and/or rotation spots or to at least have some possible future talent to move into rotational positions at some juncture. Heck, look at all the teams not even picking up those rookie options to save a buck. The apron is here.
