I have a question. Our defense sucks. Hickson is completely useless, offensively and defensively. Why don't we try to give Whiteside some of JJ's minutes? Is he SO bad? I know he is limited on offense, but is he much worse than a guy like Joel Anthony? I would like to see what he can do. Put a 7 footer over there, with jumping ability and a good sense for the blocks, and see if he can produce. We have nothing to lose. He just needs to be a goalie, take some rebounds and not taking any shots.

I haven't heard or seen anything that convinces me that Whiteside would be able to handle playing meaningful minutes in the NBA. As bad and limited as JJ is, I have a feeling Whiteside is worse.

I have a concern, but its hard to really peg on a little guy playing so well. Nonetheless, when Thomas is in, I think our game sometimes becomes TOO much about Isiah Thomas and it has a suppressing effect on our main stars' ability to get into dominate rhythms. Its not just that he's out there, its us runing every single play through him or for him. Like a new toy that you want to try everything with. And while IT is playing like tonight maybe that's ok. Maybe. But if he's off even a little bit I could see that making our situation..well, not better. IT can have a very fun night, but if our main guys never get into a rhythm because of it we won't be better off.

DMC is superstar material. Big men needs time to develop, and if he is so good at age 21, I can't imagine what he will be in his prime. This team needs to be build around him.

How did this kid fall to 60th..... really. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself here but playing like he does is their any reason he can't be a long term starter in the NBA? I understand his height is a problem but his defense is actually pretty good.
