2 people that have to be traded for sure. HART and KENNY THOMAS
And without any complimentary players around him outside of SAR's post-game.
As a new member the KT bashing is something that confuses me.
The fact that he only plays good starting is rediculous, and he does have a horrible attitude, but look at his game stats around when he took over the starting job, he had over 10 rebounds a game consistantly for about 10 games. Come gametime I can usually forget about his faults of character.
He outrebounded, and outhussled Shareef (who contributes great off the bench) so why not let him start? I honestly think him starting had a little bit to do with the Kings turnaround.
OT, but another thing that confuses me here....Why the Nene fascination? Is it his cool name? It couldnt possibly be his game, cause Thomas has better numbers then him.
...I totally just realized this post is probably gonna annoy a lot of people...Oh well, thats what the internet is for!
Ive been watching the boards and questioning it myself - what was wrong with Kenny/SAR duo? It was extremely effective.
Kenny would make for a great role player on a championship caliber team or even a true contender. The problem is that the Kings are neither of those things.... as it stands.
Wow, giving up already with 2 plus months left?
With Bonzi back - we likely can only do trades..
With Bonzi gone - FAs and trades...
If that's how it goes though, the same front-court as last season... yuck. Medicore defensively.
Thomas wouldn't be so bad if we just had a big time shot blocker next to him.
I'd get rid of both, personally, but since that isn't likely...
Brad - Shooting, passing, smarts, iffy contract, average rebounder, not an athlete, not a paint presence, not a shotblocker, inconsistent effort.
KT - Rebounding, hustle, effort, quickness, iffy contract, not a paint presence defensively, decent passer, jumper? (does he get this back?), doesn't want to come off the bench, athleticism.
To choose one, I'd take KT over Brad to get better defensively and still have enough offense in the front-court with an above-average/good defensive center next to KT. Someone like Magloire/Camby/Nene.
I'd be good with Brad having a defensive PF next to him though, or having a defensive center replace Brad in the starting line-up.

So you're trading a top 10 center like Brad to make up for KENNY'S weaknesses? Camby's not a bad player(even though he's always injured) but damn that makes no sense. Kenny is garbage and he always will be. If we got Camby you automatically start SAR anyway. Either way Kenny's got to go, he sucks.
This seems interesting. Not alot of love for KT or BM. I wonder out of the two, who would you guys rather see go? For me, it did seem like KT had more "moments" last year than BM. BM has better attitude. Who has more potential, or on the other hand potential to be replaced?
