Dime Dropper
All-Star
Drummond came up big again catching a Napier airball and dunking it. Napier is killing Uconn. I love Lamb but he needs to take over now and screw his teammates.
does anybody know of a website with updated prospect info? I'm sick of reading the draft express stuff on players that was written a year ago. They have updates on some folks, like i just read about how hensons year has been going (and i'm still high on him after reading it), but i want to read about how drummond and barnes years have been thus far.

I have a question myself. Black and White who fits better with Evans MKG or Barnes and why? IMO MKG fits the bill because of the "Power Ball" style we could play like back in 06 when we came very close to punching the spurs in the mouth.

As a player Barnes is probably a better fit right now. Thing is while Barnes seem to have Tyreke's low-key personality MKG is a leader or at least sound a lot like it. He's also a better defender and a much better playmaker.

depends on what you value more, defense/tenacity in MKG or outside shooting in Barnes. Kings are lacking in both categories, probably more on the defensive end in my opinion, but with MKG on the floor we become a very bad 3 pt shooting team, and therfore easier to guard. Im leaning towards MKG still but i honestly dont know.
p.s. thanks for the website tip

If were talking about SF's, then Barton isn't in the picture. I have him in my SG lineup. He has a Kevin Martin type build. Skinny as a rail, but a very good athlete. His shooting has improved this season, mainly because he's been going to the basket more instead of settling for contested jumpers. He has pretty good handles, and he gets to the foul line quite a bit. He's certainly a better defender now than Martin was when he was drafted. One strange thing is that although he's a sophmore, he's already 21 years old. Not sure why, but I know had accademic problems when he tried to enroll at Memphis, so he may have been set back a year.
The obvious weakness is lack of strength, something that will become more revelant in the NBA. I don't see any way he can play SF in the NBA with his slight frame and lack of weight. Personally, I want my SF to be a minimun of 6'7". I'm sick and tired of 6'5"/6'6" John Salmons type players pretending to be SF's. I'll admit that Barton has a nice wingspan, but sorry, I'd rather have a legit SF, who also has a nice wingspan.
im really enjoying the march madness and the biuld up because i have basketball all the time
Ashville are playing really well too
Yeah, Syracuse isn't as strong without Melo. Good thing I didn't fill out my bracket until last night.
whats with the whole brackets thing??? why does everyone do it???
What do you think of Moultrie?
I have no idea why NBADraft.net would think we'd take Moultrie ahead of Gilchrist or Robinson. I have him going in the last third of the 1st round.
nbadraft.net also compares moultrie to Jason Thompson which is I guess? why he gives them to the Kings. horrible pick though he's far from an elite talent, he's just a decent bigman late 1st type maybe mid 1st if someone overrates him.
barnes would be perfect in a it/reke trio. he's like Thornton but way taller and a lot more overall talent and potential and we could bring mt off the bench for 30 mins. mkg would also be amazing, id just rather have barnes because he reminds me of Kobe and I think his potential is just through the roof and he has a sweet stroke
Not all of us have your level of sagacity when it comes to prospect evaluation.![]()
Is Gilchrist always this bad at interviews?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=y1Z76aU_iic
This may be the worst interview I've ever seen.
I didn't think it was that bad, not that it makes any difference. He was only 17 years old at the time, and I've seen worse performances by 17 year olds. Fortunately, they aren't paying him to talk at the next level, so I think he'll be just fine. But let me say this. There is the tendecy to equate speaking ability with intelligence. Some of the most brilliant people in the world were poor public speakers, and by the same token, we've elected folks for president based on their ability to speak, and some of them have failed miserably.
And these final comments aren't directed at you Sidney, but to whom the shoe might fit.
CJ McCollum had a great game today.
ND.net have pretty random mock until about week or two before the draft then they correct it according to the rumors they have. Going to them mid-season is useless. Draftexpress or some mocks on RealGM are much more realistic.I have no idea why NBADraft.net would think we'd take Moultrie ahead of Gilchrist or Robinson. I have him going in the last third of the 1st round.
