The Clippers are insanely loaded at the guards spots including even someone like Thornwell, I would inquire about Beverely to be a back up PG/ran double PG with Fox is we fail to get Smart.
Lou/Bradley/Thornwell/SGA/Teo/Pat just not enough playing time to go around.
Clippers have until 7/14 to cut Milos for 2.1 Mil vs 6 MilThe more logical/probable option is Milos.
Cavs will probably still match. Read somewhere today they are putting Korver on the trade block, if so, then I'd say that would be pointing to the Cavs keeping Hood. Why can't the Kings just front load the heck out of an offer to Hood so as to make it untenable for the Cavs to match, but still have it cap friendly in the following years?

Hood isn't my favorite fit for the Kings but they need shooting and talent so why not?
Yah, but who?Cause he only averages 2-3 rebounds per game. And we can probably get the same production out of J Jackson.
Vlade should trade target a SF that can defend the toughest wing, rebound solidly and stretch the floor.
I think the backup PG spot is where they should add some scoring. Napier is still out there.

Please back up your hyperbole with real stats and facts. Hood was averaging 17ppg for the Jazz for 3 years.
You obviously don’t know or watch basketball.
Hood was averaging 17ppg for the Jazz for 3 years.
Hood would also be the best perimeter defender on the Kings. That’s based on pure stats.
Mentioning Jackson is comical. Because he had a couple decent scoring games in a Summer League. He Sucks. He wouldn’t be a third option on a decent team. He will be out of the league within a couple years.
Jackson will Never, Ever come close to averaging 17ppg for a whole season.
Hood is not amazing. But, he would be the Best SF the Kings have had in a decade. Including, Rudy Gay
Temple can’t shoot. Where did you pull that from? He was lousy last year. Check his numbers again.
The most that Hood has averaged in a season is 14.7 pts (this year). If you compare their rookie years, they put up very similar numbers. Please back up your hyperbole with real stats and facts. Hood was averaging 17ppg for the Jazz for 3 years.

Signing a young prospect to battle Jackson for the starting spot makes zero sense.
Since the Kings are so great at developing these types of players. Spurs, Dubs, yes. Kings, not so much.

This is one of the most logical posts in terms of offers. If we are (actually) interested offer a similar deal to A. Bradley, bit aim maybe for a longer term such as 3 yrs. Most I would go is a Avery Bradley type deal of 25 over 2 years.

This table shows Rodney Hood's on/off stats. The big number is the percentile he's in for each stat. You guys see a trend in there? He's getting progressively worse.
If I told you that Hood was going to show up and score 17ppg with 39% from three, most everyone would be happy. That's what he put up in half a season with Utah this last year. Those numbers got him a -8.9 on/off which put him in the 13th percentile in the league.

Jabari parker - not good

Marcus Smart - better

Buddy Hield - MVP!!!

Ok so obviously the stats can be swayed by whether you start or not and they can be swayed by the other guys you play with but it's pretty telling to me when many of these "big numbers" guys people want seem to have their teams all get better once they leave the floor. If we were trying to pick guys like that up for the bench, it would be alright. But if we are picking them up to start or play a lot of minutes, those numbers aren't going to change a whole lot.
The stats are more effective for Smart, Parker and Hood because they all played for decent to playoff teams. Hield's numbers are over inflated because the Kings starters were so bad most the time that the only place to go from there was up. Smart, Parker and Hood played in good rotations so their numbers are a bit more accurate as far as determining their value on the court.
If the Kings are standing pat, wouldn't mind Nunally as a shooter off the bench:
Well, at least he'd have a sick nickname - James "Get thee to a" Nunnally!
Where's that SMDH emoji when I need it?
