2019 NBA Draft thread

I am not at all disappointed/surprised with the #60 pick. Have to think Peja and Vlade know their Serbian players.

The jimmer's problem was he didnt have a handle and opponents locked in extra hard on him because they were not going to let him embarrass them. Remember all those full court pick ups.
 
Man... I know none of these picks would really mean anything in the long term, but this was still a pretty big letdown.

Hopefully free agency fares a little bit better.
 
I'm glad this is over. Now I can get to the serious stuff - the premiere of Holey Moley.

The sad thing is I would have been more happy if we came out of this daft with King, Jeffries, and J. Porter. All three were undrafted.

Vanja isn't going to be coming over next year. He's a poor man's Bogie. They just drafted him because they wanted his rights and probably preferred someone who wouldn't take up cap space this year.

Dray and Ezeli were both picked while Jerry West was still on the Warriors staff. Bell had a nice rookie season then preceeded to suck for his sophomore year and the league got a scouting report on him. Damian Jones was only in their rotation to start the year due to injuries.

In a draft deep with role players I was hoping for a back up SF with length. What I was not expecting was a player who is 22, shots 28% from 3, and was literally on no one else’s draft board.

I have serious concerns about their cognitive functioning heading into FA. Sometimes it's as easy as putting the round peg in the round hole. Truthfully I don't think they drafted complete scrubs but have some common sense here Vlade. The jokes about the 5 man all center lineup around now swapped to the SG spot, again.
