[Game] 10/10/13 - Kings @ Lakers (in Las Vegas) - pre-season 7:00 PDT

Wouldn't surprise me if the bigs are trying to figure out the defensive schemes Malone is running and that's why they are struggling a bit. Kaman and Gasol are no easy task to stop when they are playing well.

IT with another quick two assists leading to great looks. I don't think it is a coincidence he is racking up the assists at the start of the game, then at half time.

And Jimmer showing why the IT/Jimmer combo doesn't work too well. Leaves a hole in our defense :(

I'm afraid jimmer just is never gonna catch on with lack of defense. I'm sure he tries, he just doesn't have the ability.
Not unless a team has a way to hide him with a big guard like Reke next to him or a defensive anchor. Otherwise I think it'll be hard to have him out there.

Ooo. Nice look IT. Ppat got one.

How refreshing is it to see us play some D?
That last play was nice hustle but Cousins almost blew it by overplaying the double on Gasol letting Kaman get a look up close at the rim. I have noticed that Cousins doesn't seem to be cheating off his man and trying to get steals as much during these past two games though.

maybe it was just Keith Smarts globetrotter chucker offense that made Outlaw look extra crappy
Nope Outlaw, made Outlaw crappy. The dude was a good roleplayer on Portland. When he went to BK and then us, he fell in love with chucking bad 3pt shots, which killed his value

It also helps he's playing his natural position and not the 4, like he was for Smart

I think IT has played well aside from a few plays. If he starts, he's going to need to play more like this.

And Outlaw continues to only take good shots at this point. And no, starting him wouldn't be ideal, but the competition at that spot isn't exactly 'fierce'.

Damn another off the board shot by Cousins man if he gets that take all the jumper you want, has DMC been working on the Tim Duncan trademark??

Agreed. Both times we have went on good scoring runs were when IT found the open men.
