Just watched Quantum of Solace today with my wife(her birthday today), I enjoyed it alot especially the first action scenes. Really entertaining.
I wanna see that too. Is it better or worse than Casino Royale? Because I really liked that one

Saw Eagle Eye tonight. And in spite of all its flaws, I really enjoyed it.
The plot is stupid and some of the scenes are just way over the top, but it really is an enjoyable film. The action really never stops, and I think the cast works great.
Some of the plot and the negatives:

I just finished watching "Journey to the Center of the Earth"
I really liked this version. Brendan Fraser always does a good job...
Here's what kills me about Fraser. One half of his resume consists of School Ties, Gods and Monsters, and Crash.
And the other half ... well: Encino Man, Monkeybone, Blast From the Past, Dudley Do-Right, Looney Toons: Back In Action, you get the idea. I mean the man has appeared in three Pauly Shore movies. And in between, he headlined a blockbuster franchise with The Mummy series.
So I don't get it; what is he? An amazingly diverse actor? A leading man who often makes some terrible role choices. Is he all about the money and sometimes gets lucky with a good role? Does he even read scripts? Does he just have the world's most ADHD agent? What's the story?
The Happening -- that was nearly as inept as everybody else was saying it was. Only makes it worse that for the first five minutes I was thinking, hey, this isn't so bad (a nifty scene with construction workers was the highlight). But my goodness. Whatever happened to M. Night anyway? And they just need to shoot whoever wrote the thing (and surprise, that would be M. Night too). Oh, and Mark Wahlberg. Except he will probably take care of that himself after giving one of the worst screen performances I've seen in years. Fortunately I have seen Santa Claus With Muscleso) so my standards are set rather low, otherwise I'd be suing to get my hour and a half back.
Finally saw Fight Club. What the heck was that?
I watched Untraceable, bad movie at least partially shot in Portland. I like serial killer stuff but the payoff here was pointless, also waaaaay too much product placement. There was at least one scene which came off as a commercial and had me scratching my head wondering if it could possibly advance the plot.
Also watched a doc about the guy who made the Boondock Saints (which I've never seen) called Overnight. Pretty fascinating watching this guy who just may be the biggest douche in Hollywood (saying a lot since I knew quite a few) throw away a ridiculously golden opportunity. Just wow. If you've ever seen DiG!, this guy makes Anton Newcomb look level headed.
Then I watched a few GG Allin shows. Its amazing what you'll find on Netflix instant streaming. I have like 50 movies queued up now that I can view these on the Xbox.
