Welcome Devin Carter

Love his upside. He did take a lot of tumbles on drives. Also I believe he needs a bit more time to set himself up for a shot when he recieves the ball behind the 3pt line, which might be half a second he gets in the G League, but not in the NBA. Combined with a somewhat low release, it could mean he gets his shot blocked quite a bit. But, as I said, love the upside. I think he could be an AS down the road.

I watched the Stockton Kings tonight. Devin does a lot of things I like. He has dog in him for sure and plays defense and offense. Never quits on the court. Was gassed but still impressive. Makes me think we need a team of dogs instead of players that only half way play.
We went to the game. He lost a couple of TOs and looked, as you said, gassed at times. But the man has talent and never quit on a play. He's a lot of fun to watch and overall had a pretty darn good night. Looking forward to seeing him play for Coach Christie.

I posted about this in a different thread but blocked 3 pointers don’t happen as often as one might think. I dont recall the team or the number but the squad with the most blocked three pointers in the league had around 20 on the season. This was probably 7 or 8 games ago so it came out to be less than one per game. Having said that, the slow and low release might be easier to contest resulting in more misses.
