The only thing I could find about his knees is from Enes himself, a doctor's son. He says he has tendenitis of his knee which makes it the same problem as Hassan. It is otherwise called "jumper's knee" and is probably more common than we hear about. He was once out 5 months with it and he's still 18. As much of a stud as he his, I have another problem with him and that is that he sets up in the low block exactly where Cousins does. Same side and never the other side just like Cousins. It's not like he has no other skills but that's he's pet move when he isn't knocking people around.
Certainly they may not be on the court together but chances are they will be on the court together quite a bit. I guess they would just alternete knocking the crap out of the defense down low. In any case, both are capable of high or low post.
I hope Whiteside turns into something because I think we are finding that a specialist like him has a place on OUR team, a team with another very skilled big guy.

As it is difficult for me to write short notes let me add: There is no indication that there is a tendon tear with Enes. As I know no more, I'll say no more. No cartilege problems that I know of. Hassan had a tendon tear which required surgery and a very long rehab.
