well i mean Murray was willing his teams to win on offense and defense... like check the indiana game big10 semifinal where they are down like 15-2 to start thre game and murray just starts making plays on defense and running down the court then drilling 3's, gets em right back into it almost singlehandedly.. I think he's better at that sorta chaining together high impact plays one after the next more than Ivey who's more of like a tools guy that projects to have impact..

Do you think Murray will make the All Star team one or more times in his NBA career? Or is he a "nice" role player that will be in the league 10 years? I don't see him in the orbit of a star myself.

The perfect obtainable fit is Mathurin. Vivek and Monte went to his workout, yet we hear nothing else. Elite shooting, athleticism, defensive upside, off ball IQ, and can play 2-3. I've seen plenty of mocks having him as high as 5. Please Monte just get this dude.
Since when do 6'4.5" kids play the three?

Good convo going on right now with a scout (Drake U'U) on DLO & KC. Can rewind a bit to catch the full convo. Lines up with my views, Keegan, Ivey @ 4? Good not great. Trade down, Monte!

Was interested to hear Drake's perspective. Know he liked the Davion selection last year. But played it and just got Brendan Nunes (no offence to him, but doesn't have the same Aus connections :)). Did Drake mention anyone he liked in particular?

working on my 2nd cup of coffee, ready to go.

So my morning thought, if Monte really wants Collins but Atlanta is not happy with Sacramentos offer, how about 4 for 6 with Indy plus asset.
We then give Barnes, who i’ve heard has been offered, Indys asset, possibly Brogdon and we draft Murray if still available or Daniels, my preference, or even Mathurin..

Downed a cup of coffee and a Red Bull after staying up way too late posting about Sasha Vezenkov. Let's do this!
on ya. yeah I had a restless night as well. Go Sasha, what other Bulgarian has ever played in the NBA.
Im happy with several options, be great if we trade up , but keep hearing this Collins to Sac chatter so thought to put that option out.

Apparently former King Cedric Simmons took on Bulgarian citizenship to play for their national team. and Georgi Glouchkov played 49 games for the Suns in 1985-1986 so Sasha would be the third technically.

The only real new intel that hasn't been discussed here is that he heard good things about Murray's off the court demeanor. But doesn't think Murray or Ivey will be stars. Doesn't think either are needle movers. Would trade down.

The thing is that we need to hold on to the pick until we're on the clock in case something crazy happens and one of the top three guys falls to us.

Yea, I agree. If there's a move, it'll happen on the clock. We'll see.
But we likely won't know for maybe up to 30-45 minutes. I don't think we will know the Kings have made a trade until the second part of the draft pick is made. So if we trade down to 11, it wouldn't be announced until there is an 11th pick announced.
