That would've been an amazing get. Branham fell down the draft for no reason. He's a very young talented player. I'm guessing we just didn't have the assets for it? I'm going to assume Monte offered the 37th pick + future 2nd rounders. Or perhaps something like 37th pick + a heavily protected 1st that probably wouldn't have conveyed unless it was in the 20s.

crap. He would have been an awesome prospect to develop and fit perfectly in that back-up 2/3 spot for next year.

I think George said we offered 37 + a player, he wasn’t sure who but he speculated someone like Metu.
