I've been looking for that thing for ages. Didn't it have a toy line along with it? I kept thinking it was something from my childhood I merely imagined. What the heck is it called?
There was Ed Roth Revell models if I remember correctly, and Hot Wheels or other die cast cars. You can find a bunch of similar stuff for sale at the Ed Roth website.

So far I've got plenty of fresh produce, and all the cuisine of Europe. I also need some simpler/local foods when I want something quick. With my 17th pick, I select:
Comfort Foods

A brief break from the foodstuffs to take something I thought I'd gotten earlier.
Kitsch/the Generally Tacky -- "Kitsch" is a word originally used to describe bad art, or mass produced art, but has since become used as a catchall category for any and all things tacky. Creepy garden gnomes, plastic flamingos, black velvet Elvis paintings, shag carpeting, harvest gold kitchen appliances, and on and on. The beautifully hideous has always had a special place in my heart.

Well, D-Mass may have drafted both Mexican food and pork, but thanks to the rules in this draft I can still take one of my favorite things ever to go with my tortillas:
Carnitas -- I know that I've said it with most of the foods I've drafted so far, but carnitas are literally one of my favorite things on the planet. If I had an endless supply of fresh flour tortillas and these slow roasted nuggets of tender perfection, I really don't know that I would want for anything else.

One of my favorite Genres of video games and probably the best when it comes to hanging out with friends. MVG's just never seem to disappoint (unless your comparing guitar hero to rock band in which case rock band makes guitar hero look like crap)

Hmm... i just noticed that someone chose "harmonix music systems" which are the creators of the original GH and Rock Band... I'd like to point out that he chose the company while I am choosing the games themselves but if anyone has objections to that just say something and I'll change it.
I chose HMX so I could have all their games plus their creative talent who I will put to work to make my own future games and play shows in my Man Cave. I don't want Guitar Hero 3+, Parrapa the Rapper, DDR or any of that other junk which you will have to sort through to find your copy of Rock Band, so have at it

I don't feel particularly compelled to send PMs to everyone since I know that Jespher has been very quick with reminder PMs and such, but I hope everyone has been checking the draft board. There are several people far enough behind at this point that picks are being forfeited and the fact that I'm back in school now has effectively removed any inclination I would have otherwise had towards repeated warnings/reminders/notifications.

I really don't have much time for bars these days but when I did I'd always prefer a cozy dive where the drinks were cheap and strong to the more trendy spots. All of the above were within stumbling distance to my homes in Boston, LA and Portland. The last two are just a fraction of what the "Portland Stumble Zone" has to offer and prior to getting married I spent many a late night in the area. While those days are over they'll always be a warm memory.

THE EXPLORATORIUM - SAN FRANCISCO
Love, love, LOVE the Exploratorium. There are great science museums everywhere, but there's something about the Exploratorium that keeps me coming back. You can't beat the location, for one thing, and I love how they make all of their exhibits right there in the museum. You can watch them create and build the exhibits from the upper floor, and I've often sat there dreaming about quitting my teaching job to geek out as an Exploratorium staff member. The pay and benefits probably aren't as good, but I sure could get my science on.
