[Game] Sacramento Kings @ Boston Celtics, 2/7/14 4:30 PST, 7:30 EST

Celtics are tanking this one, same record as us, they want us to get some separation from them and for us to have the tie breaker. I hate that they will probably get rewarded too as the big markets tend to do when in the lottery.
Say what now? Is that why the Cavaliers have won the lottery as many times (4) as the Knicks, Lakers, Bulls and 76ers combined?

Oh, those teams haven't spent much time in the lottery, you say? Well, the Clippers sure have. They've won the lottery three times, the same number of times as the "big market" Orlando Magic. What about the major market Golden State Warriors, who missed the playoffs something like seventeen times in eighteen years, and won the lottery exactly once in that entire timespan?

You can start to see why some Celt fans have apathy for green. Never watched him really but I don't sense motor or decision making

Something tells me you have that stored on notepad or the like. ;)

That was a bad call on the charge though. He had left his feet and Cousins slid under him (excuse the weird terminology)

Why does Grant always tell us "there will be a timeout at the next whistle?" It's just odd. What's the point?
That's not something that's unique to Napear, so I would presume that it's something that they teach broadcasters, or something. Perhaps there is an assumption that there's at least one person tuning into that specific game, that had never seen an NBA game before.

Ah, someone else who shares my opinion. I also think it's odd how he keeps track of team fouls as if the game will live or die depending on a free throw. Granted they sometimes do but listen to him.
When a team goes into the penalty, grant gets very excited.

Egad, Gorman and Heinsohn are like noise pollution. One of only four announce teams in the entire league where I would actually rather listen to Napear and Reynolds.

This lineup on the floor is doing pretty good. I might get flamed for saying this, but I think Acy > JT. And he's only been in the league for a year

I don't think you should get flamed. I think you're wrong, though.
I think the only thing that bothers me about JT is if he doesn't have it going some nights, he'll keep looking to get shots. I'd rather have him do this thing on D and try to set up shots for DMC etc.

Nice setup from JT to DMC.. We need more of that!

Yay 0 points with Cousins on the bench. Pathetic

This is where I sometimes question Malone's rotations. I mean tell me in what universe does a lineup of Jimmer/McLemore/Dwill/Acy/Landry sound like a good idea? Heck putting Gray instead of Landry would probably be better just to set some legit screens to free up Jimmer. Why not take Cousins out earlier in the 1st while IT is still in the game?
