Here are some crazy random non realistic wet dream trades I came up with from ESPN's trade Machine:
Kings and Celtics
Kings and Mavericks
- Kings receive: Rondo
- Celtics receive: Stauskas, Williams, and future 2nd rounder
Kings, Pistons, and Suns
- Kings receive: Brandon Wright
- Mavericks receive: Landry and Hollins
New Dream Kings Lineup-
- Kings receive: Brandon Jennings, Kyle Singler, Gerald Green, and Miles Plumlee
- Pistons receive: Isaiah Thomas, Darren Collison, and Anthony Tolliver.
- Suns receive: Josh Smith, Jason Thompson, and Omri Casspi
That's an 8th seed playoff team right there! Probably the best bench in the NBA too.
- Rondo/Jennings/McCallum
- McLemore/Green
- Gay/Singler
- Wright/Evans/Moreland
- Cousins/Plumlee
Houston will get him they can offer jones/canon/papa(the rookie)/and a 1st. They can also replace don't as with jones if they want.
Agreed. Dallas fits Rondo way better, Ethan the Rockets, where Harden creates the plays and needs shooters to space the floor.Rondo will absolutely kill playing pick&pop with Dirk and P&R with Chadler. If Dallas is on board, I'm sure Rondo's agent will ram it through as this would be a perfect situation for Rondo in a contract season. Monta might be upset though.
It's just a complete waste of time no matter how well he fits here, he does not want to play here, why give up any asset for something like that.
If it was just D-Will then fair enough but obviously they are looking for picks (we dont have any) and a young/good asset a Ben or Nik. I don't care how bad Nik has been I'm not giving him up for half a season of Rondo.
I agree, but did you find any quotes of Rondo, where he really said that he doesn't want to play for the Kings. All I found is an article without quotes, where it's written, that he "indicated he doesn't want to resign with SAC". On top of that maybe our strong start, the maturity of DMC and the play of Gay with DMC in the lineup may have convinced him, that we are not the worst franchise for his post Celtics career.
After all I believe, that he just wants to stay a Celtic and that most of the rumours of him being traded are pipedreams of so called experts and insiders. Rondo always denied having asked for a trade.
I created a mega trade which i think is fair for every team involved. Tell me what you think. Keep in mind this requires a second seperate deal with boston which is a Olynyk for Trade Exception swap because exceptions cannot be packaged with players.
Kings Receive
Rajon Rondo
Josh Smith
Kelly Olynyk
Boston Receives
Jason Thompson
Greg Monroe
Nik Stauskus
Kings trade exception
Detroit Recieves
Carl Landry
Brandon Bass
Derrick Williams
Boston 1st
We get our guys without losing McLemore, and a sharpshooting big man which fills a major need.. Boston gets a good haul in some young players and a solid big in thompson and detroit gets completely free of Smiths contract and as well as receiving landry and that 1st they wanted for monroe. Boston might say no but nevertheless its fun to speculate.
Webber didn't want to come here either, funny how that turned out.
Oh he was labeled a headcase too.
You can't. But you can do a seperate trade at the same time that would make it work as explained in my firat paragraph.i thought you can't combine trade exceptions with other contracts.
Webber had a contract he had to listen to - Rondo is unrestricted and can go anywhere he wants to at the end of the season.
