  • Thank you so much! You just made my day, those were hilarious. Would you mind if I posted the video and your translation on Sactown Royalty? I'll credit you for the translation. :)
Thats about it m8, there were a couple who were really funny, ones you wouldn't understand though as you gotta live in Israel to understand those.... but comedy is very diffrent from country to country.. like I can say that i'm sure people in Israel who'll see comedy acts in the US will giggle most of the time while you guys would crackup :D

Anyways was my pleasure m8, enjoy :)
"Hey you guys are laughing, but do you know how hard it is?, starting at kindergarden.. when all the kids played house and pretended to be a doctor and a nurse - I had to be the infusion stand!

When I was in the 2nd grade, i'd go and eat icecreap with my mom, and I, had to lift HER up, so she can see the flavours!

I was the only one in kindergarden, who needs to pass his cloths - to his dad!

..And to wrap it up, I came here as you all know - to help the Israeli basketball team progress into the Europian championships... and unlike the navi(that inccedent a few months ago) - we're gonna try dunk(it also means 'drawn' in Hebrew) - and the more the merryer."
...In the NBA, they don't have "The Russian law" in Basketball... that means that for every 5 players that are on on the floor, 2 of them has to be Israeli..... BTW, thats also the case when Shalom Asayag preformes (the guy in the picture, a comidian and host of the show), for every 5 jokes he tells, 2 of them has to be on russian people(little tough to explain that! - basicly many russian jews came to the country so alot of jokes are made on it by that guy:D).

(those next 2 jokes are something you won't understand so i'll skip those :D)

..I'm not the only basketball player from Yavne.. theres also Elishi Kadir, whos 2.03 high, then theres Ori Kukiya, whos 2.02, and then theres me - 2.05.... and really, thats the time and place, to thank the Nuclear base in Yavne, without you guys, we would never be this tall!......... oh and btw, Kobi(=the bold guy), looking at you, with the noses and ears and everything, I think you also grew in in the area right?
"...So everytime people ask me whats the diffrence between B-ball here and in the NBA, and to tell you the truth.. theres no point in even trying to compare the players over in Israel to the guys in the NBA..everythings more big... powerfull.. strong... and thats just in the showers!

In the states, a Basketball arena is ment just for playing Basketball... here - it's used to play everything! : Basketball, Handball, Vollyball, Tennis, musicshows, an 'awakening' ceremony with a rabai, gigs for Eyal Golan or Eli Yazpan(Israeli singer and comidian).. it's a wonder that the new foriegn players get confused?! they don't know if they should shoot at the basket, pray to god, or make a duet with Kobi Perez!(another Israeli singer).
    Sure thing pal.

Ah it's too long all at once.. theres a 1000 words limit it seems. i'll seperate it all.

" Good evening!, I am Omri Casspi - the first Israeli to ever play in the NBA!
But to tell you the truth.. the guy who takes most pride in it is my dad..he was going in Yavne(his hometown) and tells everyone "My sons in the NBA, my sons in the NBA..they told him - "hey whats the big deal.. it's Yavne, everyone here (en=don't have, in hebrew) N-BA"
