Pacers v. Pistons Brawl (MERGED)

I can agree to disagree that Spree's actions were not as bad as last nights
.
I don't think they were but that’s my opinion only. My kids were next to me watching this unfold and it’s not something that I planned on explaining to them. Spree's actions were media only u didn't see it on live TV.

My point still stands… If Artest didn't go into the stands we wouldn't be talking about this now. That’s all my opinion tho.

If Artest isn't suspended for a majority of the season I will be disappointed in the league. Just looking at previous history DStern doesn't mess around and I expect a nice hefty suspension.

Today I saw another replay of the incident, and I noticed something I'd missed the first time... the fan that came onto the court that Artest (and later O'Neal) punched was clearly trying to hit Artest. He even drew his fist back, but Ron was too quick for him.

That was self-defense. Attacking the wrong guy in the stands was inexcusable, though, and considering past history I'm now in favor of a 20+ game suspension.

i just saw them doing a award show skit and they introduced the Pacers and the Pistons, who started fighting once on stage.. but SNL needs to study up, they had Reggie as one of those fighters.

The brawl was such a big deal that for 2 straight games Sportscenter didnt show our highlights.... grrr

Also Chris Berman during his Top ten plays o the week did a NBA cheapshot. Stating the brawl is the reason you'll never see NBA basketball on his top 10:rolleyes:
