One more move

Why are you guys wanting all these no named big guys who have never accomplished anything, or even had their teams accomplish anything? These guys may have size, but theres a very good reason most people have never heard of them.

k, fine.

Let's trade Brian Skinner for Shaq. Straight Up.

The people we are naming are player's we could realistically get.

Trading just SAR won't get you a superstar.

I would love a Kenny Thomas for Etan Thomas straight across the board. One of those Artest/Peja trades, where the money is right, it fills needs by both teams, and just makes too much sense.

Hope Petrie is not done dealing with the Pacers...

Sacramento

Outgoing

Jason Hart
6-3 PG from Syracuse
3.7 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1.1 apg in 14.1 minutes

Brad Miller
7-0 C from Purdue
14.9 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 5.2 apg in 37.6 minutes

Kenny Thomas
6-7 PF from New Mexico
8.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 24.7 minutes

Incoming

Jermaine O'Neal
6-11 PF from Eau Claire (HS)
20.9 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 2.3 apg in 35.8 minutes

Change in team outlook: -6.5 ppg, -5.8 rpg, and -5.9 apg.

Indiana

Outgoing

Jermaine O'Neal
6-11 PF from Eau Claire (HS)
20.9 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 2.3 apg in 35.8 minutes

Incoming

Jason Hart
6-3 PG from Syracuse
3.7 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1.1 apg in 14.1 minutes

Brad Miller
7-0 C from Purdue
14.9 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 5.2 apg in 37.6 minutes

Kenny Thomas
6-7 PF from New Mexico
8.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 24.7 minutes

Change in team outlook: +6.5 ppg, +5.8 rpg, and +5.9 apg.

Successful Scenario
Due to Sacramento and Indiana being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Sacramento and Indiana had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Trade ID: 2888741

Lineups

Sac
Bibby
Bonzi
Artest
SAR
O'Neal

Indiana
Tinsley
Jackson
Peja
Kenny Thomas
Brad Miller

Actually, much as I like Jermaine, and much as I'm sure that was a joke, apparently he and Ron didn't see eye to eye so we might be asking for it with such a move.

With that team there would nothing but love. Winning cures all.
I thought love cured all? :p

Actually there would be a great donnybrook going on every time down the floor to see who got to take the shot. Not sure why that keeps getting lost, but all the shots are already accounted for. Even at our peak as an offensive machine we had 2 guys in our starting lineup who really didn't need nor particularly want shots. We need one of those guys now. Preferably at PF.

But both those guys could score if called upon, which was the reason the Kings were so deadly on offense. They didn't go out of their way to look for their shot, but if others were struggling or it was late in the shot clock Doug and Vlade had the capacity to step it up. As long as you don't have egos clashing on the floor you can never have enough offensive firepower as long as you have guys (like Doug, Artest, Bonzi and the entire Pistons team) who play on both ends. The problem isn't too many good offensive players, the problem is having too many people who are ONLY good offensive players.

hum right now skinner can do this job

BUT NENE IS THE MAN! very good on the defense !
very good in rebounds anda can do something in the ofense! NENE ON KINGS!!!!

Firstly, like who? Just because their (the general guys who have been talked about here) on bad/medicore/young teams (as you indicated), doesn't mean they can't or wouldn't help/develop with/play well on other teams in different situations or needs.

I'd love Nene, but he won't be back till next season.

They have the same last name, so why not? :D I don't know Etan, but unless we start KT and have SAR off the bench, then we should move him if we can. He doesn't do enough for us off the bench and could be packed with another player or so to get us a big guy hopefully to improve our interior defense.

How many 6' 7" guys do we need give up to get a 7'+ shot blocking, rebounding basketball goalie???
(Corliss, KT) for a big guy with defensive skills. He is 7'+ so he can maybe get us a few points considering he is athletic and so close to the hoop. :)

Nah, those braids are cool. Looks kind of like the Predator. :)
Now that's a nickname you'd be proud to have on your team. We have Ron as the Warrior King, Bibby as the Hired Gun, Kevin as the energy off the bench, and PREDATOR prowling the court, looking for things to devour.

I like it...

;)

Nope.

Kevin is Peanut Head.

I dig his dreads!

Etan is a guy that loves contact. Reminds me of a young Brian Grant (hair and all). He is just so physical, and is a true banger. He isn't a superstar player, won't dominate any aspect of the game, but he can change it while he is in there.

I was really impressed how he went toe to toe with Shaq last year in the playoffs, thats when I gained my respect for him.
