Oh Vegas!

Sitting at the OC airport, waiting for my flight to Vegas to do a little work, a lot of drinking, and to watch the Kings vs. Lakers. I went to the same game last year and was dissapointed that few starters even played. No matter, I plan on tying one on pretty hard before the first ball is even shot...

Go Kings - let's hope for some support at the Thomas Mack!

Shall we re-title this the Game Thread? I have no objection. The only thing of substance I have to say that hasn't been said in the rebuild impressions thread is that a Kings VS. Lakers preseason game provided us this:

Christie always was my favorite King...There was that one Easter game, where we blew the Lakers out. DC13 TOURCHED Kobe for about 30 points AND shut him down. Memories.

Hope Spencer plays, for some reason he always gets the best of Bynum. I also hope JT gets at least 25 minutes before he fouls out against Pau. And still waiting for Evans to have a beastly game.

CruzDude is gonna be there too!! Decided on spur of moment to drive up Thursday afternoon and back after game. Will be interesting game as Lakers don't have many new pieces but do have RonRon. Would LOVE to see Desmond and RonRon play each other, yuk yuk yuk.

Good test for the kids for 3rd game then 4 games in next 7 days will see who is really in shape and who is learning new system.

Will provide some player progress updates from game.

I am staying at the Hard Rock - the new Paradise Tower is pretty nice. During my flight over here and coming off the plane I saw a bunch of different "business" type people wearing Lakers shirts - polos and such.

This game is funny because it seems like it is more to entertain the people in the organizations vs. the actual game. No matter - it's gonna be fun no matter what.

My buddy and I are planning on hitting the major spots after the game. Gonna start at the Ghost Bar (at the Palms). It will be interesting to see if any of the players roll out.

I got my new smart phone ready to snap any pics. I am sure the Maloofs will be showing everyone a good time...

Unfortunately that move in pre-season is the best move Beno made all year.

Seriously though with some of the focus off of Beno and more talent around him I hope he has a better year.
