SF is the free agent position this year...Darko is really the only big man worth anything..a few good PG's and this off-season is pretty weak...maybe its a good thing we don't have cap money...in all honesty Gerald Wallace would probably be the most desireable free agent of that entire lot.
 
Gerald Wallace and Rashard Lewis would be the sexy pics in free agency, but I also like that Williams kid out of sacramento a bunch too:p .

There are a bunch of veteran PGs but they're all a bit pricey for what they are. I'd be happy with Ronnie Price too. I like his hustle and heart.

Chucky Atkins? Dee Brown?

I say try to pull off a Bibby for Varajao sign and trade, packaged with Newble's expiring contract, and maybe Wesley's (you can do this, right?). If you signed him to a front-end loaded deal, you'd both scare off the Cavs, match the salaries with Bibby better, and save some salary room in the future when his deal actually declines.

I thought the Kings had the LLE also, but realGM had the Kings listed as using their LLE on the center (Woods?) that was given the $400K gaurantee. I am not sure what the story actually is.

If realGM is correct, that was a stupid move.

I am confused. If he is a restricted free agent for Portland, why would he be playing for the Kings in summer league? I suppose the article(s?) could be wrong or I misread it, but if they are right then he probably should be on the unrestricted list.

I don't think that's right. I believe Woods got part of the MLE. I don't think the Kings even had the LLE available to use last year.
 
Vince Carter agreed to a four year 61 mil deal with a team option for a fifth year and Jason Kapono agreed to a four year deal with the Raptors.
 
Luke Walton agreed to a six year 30 mil deal with the lakers and it sounds like Grant Hill is going to sign with Phoenix. Also Gerald Wallace is Dallas number one target in free agency.

6yr for 30mil for lil lukey i don't think he's worth 30mil it kinda makes me wonder if the lakers are that desperate, or they might be trading odom away and need insurance, btw anyone know what price jason kapono signed on the dotted line for? i like grant hill i wish he signed with us but we're not exactly one piece away from a championship so i guess thats that.
 
Its only $5mil a year. For what he did for them last year, not really excessive. Much better use of MLE type money than was Radmanovic the year before.

And whiel I do not think they are tryign to ship out Lamar, with the mess they have down there now, and the almost panicked attemtps they have eben making to do somethig ot placate Kobe (his strategem is working thus far) Lamar could very well be gone whether they'd ratehr keep him or not. he's one of their most marketable assets. Especially in the megadeals proposed.

They're not shopping Lamar, they'll trade him for JO or KG but not much else. They just turned down a Marion for Odom deal. The Walton deal is a bad move, a little too much yearly and way too long considering he's injury prone. No other team would've given him a contract even close to that IMO
 
Now I think the King's Can start Rebuilding. The King's Need to Propose a Trade that Sends Brad Miller or Abdur-Rahiem to Denver And Marcus Camby To Chicago with Sacramento reciveing Andres Nocioni from Chicago in a sign&trade. The King's could also recive Reggie Evans from Denver.

I also think the King's should persue Smush Parker to have a plan "B" if they trade Bibby. Douby and Price are not going to get it done over the long haul, but Parker can.

This would be my list of people to look at grabbing (before Trading Artest,Bibby,Miller,Thomas...) if I were Petrie.

I'd go with Justin Williams, Ronnie Price, Amir Johnson and maybe Blatche.

Maybe Matt Barnes if we were unloading Artest.

just what i was going to say he's a shoot first pass when he gets scared type of guard, and he has issues with his coaches, thats why phil benched him and replaced him with farmar, we don't need him here i'd rather get a steve blake , who sees the floor well and has a good basketball i.q.
 
Well,...

The above lineup looks good, by KingsInBrazil... but now that Rashard is no longer a possibility, and I can't see the Hedo thing going through, it seems as if the biggest question mark is at that position right now (for sure if Artest goes)

Maybe Jeffries, Balkman, and Lee (From Knicks) for Artest.. seeing as how Isiah is piddling his pants over Artest right now. (According to realgm.com)

then Renaldo Balkman can backup Cisco? maybe...
 
Do you have a link, 6th? That was reported by ESPN yesterday and then, later, his agent denied it.
