Official 24 thread for 2006...

Since I'm watching again, what about the scene where the lady in charge of home land security looks over the railing and notices that Chloe and Audrey are missing and gets a slight smile on her face? Think she made the call or am I overthinking?

Okay, I'm going to assume that everyone who is in this thread has watched the show - it has aired in all our areas.

Audrey signed a statement saying that Buchanan made a lot of critical errors in judgment and that he was the reason behind some of the decisions that led to the loss of CTU lives. She did it (at least is pretending to have done it) to shield her father and the Department of Defense. In actuality she did it so she could have Chloe stick around to work with Jack...

As far as the involvement of THE WEASEL, he's been behind the whole thing to bolster his image and make him look as though he is THE MAN and not THE WEASEL.

KiNgMyC - This message will self-destruct as soon as you indicate that you've read it.

;)

Thank You :p

I think the "lady" might be definitely worth keeping an eye on. Don't trust her; certainly don't like her.

Considering the lates chain of events, here is a little conspiracy theory to ponder about. We all assoumed that Walt Cummings comitted suicide because he felt bad of what he did. Taking into account what we know now, wouldn't it be possible that he was murdered so he wouldn't rat out the weasel?!

Oh, very interesting...and it certainly makes more sense than Cummings committing suicide.

I'm STILL wondering where the Chinese are and why they haven't raised a fuss about Jack Bauer still being alive...

It has only been 16 hours since Jack resurfaced.... They are robably still sleeping over in China :)

Next season 24 and Prison Break will be combined into Jack tries to break out of prison in China :)

Ok, I had this saved on my Tivo and didn't get to watch it until tonight. The question about Walt's suicide was one that I asked right after I got done watching, but it would make sense if he was murdered.

One thing I noticed in the preview for next week is that the lady was on the phone saying "make sure Audrey meets up with Jack", which sounded like she was sending them both into a trap. Does this mean that Homeland has known about the gas all along? Maybe they really wanted it to originally get to Russia?

This show rocks! I just wish that they wouldn't answer so many questions with more questions. It drives you nuts waiting until next week.

You know what really drives you nuts?

I didn't start watching the series from the beginning of a season until Season 3. I've picked up bits and pieces of the first two, but finally couldn't stand it any longer. I went to ebay, just to look mind you, and ended up doing a "Buy it now!" on the Season 1 DVD set.

So far, so good. Now comes the "nuts" part. I watch the first hour...then the second. Since the commercials are gone I've only used up an hour and a half, so I decide I can watch another episode. Before I know it, the first DVD is finished. (Each one contains four episodes.)

Long story short? I am sleep deprived but I now know a lot of the back-stories that they refer to in later seasons. AND I'm doing my best to avoid returning to ebay...but it's not a fight I expect to win.

Believe me, having a FULL season's worth of episodes sitting right there in your living room is much worse than having to wait until next week...

;)

My brother and I did the same thing with the Battlestar Galactica (the new series) Season 1 and 2.0 (half of season 2) and finished them off in a single weekend.

I did this as well with the first season. We missed it completely but since it got such great reviews we started watching the second season when it came on. We were immediately hooked but realized we needed to see the first season & borrowed the DVD set from a friend.

We burned through the first DVD in one day (translation..did not leave the couch!), but then paced ourselves after that. The problem was that we were still watching the second season "live" and mixing in the first season on DVD when we could. Needless to say we were very confused at times! Although I will say that the first season sets the tone for all other seasons, and it's a good idea to see the where it all began.

I am doom-ed.

I found that Ch. 31 is showing season 2 and A&E is showing both seasons 2 and 3, albeit at ungodly early hours of the morning...

I may never sleep again.

DAMN IT! I have to close:( Thank God for the DVR

I have 2 DVRs (one in the bedroom one in the living room). I tape it on both... Just in case one of them screws up (which has never happend, and I hope it never will) :)

I saw a preview for some Disney 3D animation with a bunch of zoo animals, and Keifer Sutherland is the voice of the lion. All I heard was Jack Bauer.

They're showing previews of Kiefer's new movie, "The Sentinel."

Here's what imdb.com has to say about it:

Special Agent Pete Garrison is convinced that a Neo-Nazi Aryan Disciple has managed to infiltrate the White House. When a White House Agent is murdered, Garrison is framed and blackmailed over an affair with the First Lady Sarah Ballentine. He is relieved of his duties, but Garrison won't stop in trying to prove his innocence, and save the life of the President. While attempting to uncover the person behind it all, he comes into confrontation with his protege, Agent Breckinridge.

Cast:

Michael Douglas .... Agent Pete Garrison
Kiefer Sutherland .... David Breckinridge
Kim Basinger .... First Lady Sarah Ballentine
Eva Longoria .... Jill Marin

I've seen a couple of trailers on TV this weekend. Agent David Breckinridge bears a striking resemblance to Jack Bauer!!!

Lion looks at an elephant and says: "The only reason that you're conscious right now is because I don't want to carry you." :D

Holy crap.

Another Jack Bauer random fact:

The truth may hurt, but it doesn't hurt as much as Jack Bauer.

I suspect President Logan is going to soon know the reality of the above...

Holy crap.

Dangit! I have had nothing but static through most of tonight's broadcast. WTF is going on?

I got a call from Kingsgurl at the beginning of the program. She, too, was having a lot of static problems. She called Comcast and they said it was Fox's fault. One problem: I have DishNetwork and I had NO static at all...

I hate President Charles Logan. I bet he's a Laker fan.
