I ended up doing a "Buy it now" on a mint DVD set of the first season. I'm rationalizing it by saying it will keep my from "24 withdrawals" once season 5 has concluded...

I received the First Season set. I am now on 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.

I was only going to watch a couple of hours, but I'm finding it extremely hard to tear myself away...

Okay, I'm going to assume that everyone who is in this thread has watched the show - it has aired in all our areas.

Audrey signed a statement saying that Buchanan made a lot of critical errors in judgment and that he was the reason behind some of the decisions that led to the loss of CTU lives. She did it (at least is pretending to have done it) to shield her father and the Department of Defense. In actuality she did it so she could have Chloe stick around to work with Jack...

As far as the involvement of THE WEASEL, he's been behind the whole thing to bolster his image and make him look as though he is THE MAN and not THE WEASEL.

Pixel. I thought it is a continuation error too, but I guess it is possibile that the weasel was just playing dumb to the VP about Palmer. Remember that somebody already sent out the van to kill him before he got to the compound. I don't think it was that big of a secret that he was there.

In fact, now that I think about it a little more, Weasel pretty much HAD to act like he didn't know anything about Wayne Palmer. "Plausible deniability" and all that jazz...

Some stuff though you just have to take with a grain of salt.... I've never been to LA, but it is amazing how no matter where Jack is he can get to where ever he needs to be in "20 minutes"
