Official 24 thread for 2006...

From the previews it seemed like Curtis and the crew might stand up to Frodo's little helper!!! Did Buchanan ask McGill to see his key when he was trying to distract him from Audrey?

One hour next week and then 2 hours of 24 the following week!!

Yes, Buchanan DID tell hobbit he'd need his key card to do the special recovery of the phone records. THAT's when the excrement hit the circulating air apparatus.

And so...the "no kill" streak for Jack continues.

I sure wouldn't want to be Pres. Logan when the lovely Mrs. Logan gets back and finds out HE didn't turn back the motorcade. I'm thinking it could get very ugly.

Logan makes my skin crawl...

What about Nixon and Kissinger let's pray scene :)

Kind of out of character of the show, but we need a scene like that evey once in a while.

TWO HOURS of 24 tonight!!!

And, at least on the West Coast, it will be AFTER the Kings game.

Sometimes, life is just good.

:)

Notes from tonight's episode:

The shootings Jack did were so Jack Bauer.

Kim is still a righteous pain in the patoot.

Any real top security goverment key card would self-destruct if someone tried to reprogram it.

Watching two minutes of President Logan gives me the uncontrollable urge to take a very long, very hot shower...rinse...and repeat.

Why haven't the Chinese found out about Bauer being alive?

Anybody else think the Vice President is going to be at the top of the "bad guy" food chain?

My favorite character not named Jack is Chloe.

OMG. They killed __________. (In case you haven't watched yet.)

Okay, now I'm starting to get worried. There was a rumor floating around that this was going to be the last season for 24. But I could swear I read somewhere that Keifer Sutherland had signed a new contract.

After watching tonight's episode, I'm afraid there won't be anyone left from CTU for next season.

NO WAY!!! That is unacceptable!! I've watched each season. This CANNOT be the last.

BY the way, I cried at least 3 times tonight!! Next week - NO GOOD GUYS CAN DIE!!!

By the way, do y'all think Kim's boyfriend/doctor - whatever he is- is in on it or is he just an idiot?

It was one of those vague "I heard somewhere" type rumors. I cannot see them actually ending this series. Jack Bauer won't let them!

I'm still waiting for the Chinese to find out Bauer is still alive...

About the boyfriend? I think he's just an idiot and someone who is just know realizing the young lady he's involved with has the father from hell... I don't think he's involved for the simple reason they didn't know Jack Bauer was still alive when this plan was hatched so there's no real reason for idiot to have gotten involved with Kim.

I thought I read somewhere that they already have next couple of seasons planned out.

Think about it. We were all trying to figure out ho are they going to bring Jack back after last season :)

They'll find a way to keep this going for couple of more seasons... They have to :)

By the way.... RIP Tony Almeida :(

I was watching something else and taping 24 (much easier to watch without commercials :) )

My wife came downstairs afer she watched it.. in tears.

She cried when they showed Edgar again at the beginning, she cried when the guard was calling his daughter to say goodbye and when Tony died.

I know. I'm not really surprised about Tony or Michelle. Edgar was a shock. President Palmer had to die so he could accept the role on "The Unit," which is GOOD. Hobbit boy was a guest role anyway, so I expected him to be gone. Honestly, though, I thought Jack would shoot him.

At least this way there's plenty of room for new characters for next season. And there are still those pesky Chinese to take care of...

For the record? I think the Vice President is behind all of it.

What about the guy that killed tony? He was totally immune to those injections they were giving him. They need to take him down.

That thought crossed my mind too!! I love what Chloe was saying to C Thomas Howell's character. He gets on my nerves. "Just concentrate on breathing". Give me a break.

"Get your butt back into the detention hall, flare gun boy!" :D

Only 2 more hours...I feel like the kid in the "DisneyWorld" commercial.

WOW. It just keeps getting better. I'll keep my mouth shut until it is done for you west coast folks.

Holy crap...

The writing on this show never ceases to amaze me. I had totally forgotten about the brother...

Did I mention "holy crap"?

;)
