I love getting blown out by the worst teams in the league. Nothing brings me more joy.

Like I said, a lack of outside shooting with this lineup. It's been better defensively, but is limited on offense. It's hard to find a balanced set of five guys with this roster.

It's unreal. forget +/-, watch the game. MT and IT got destroyed in the 3rd. It wasn't subtle either btw.

That won't be the story. It'll be "Evans returns, Kings lose."

Actually, the average point guard has dominated Evans this season...at least satistically. Evans has a PER of 10.5 while playing point. His opponents average 14.4.

Dude, stop with your stats. They don't explain much. You can't boil the mess which this team has been this season into stats like you suggest. You seem to be suggesting Reke actually isn't our best defender of opposing PG's, which would be ludicrous.

I don't. He and Hayes have provided nothing this second half. Cuz is out of energy and not moving his feet.

Stil gotta take a shot with your elite talent to try to close something like this out. Talk to them, ask for 3 minutes of energy. Get one three from Marcus, a couple of big rebounds from Cuz, and you are there.

I love Cisco. But his most valuable contribution to this team right now is his leadership and vet presence. That's why his minutes should be going one of the younger guys.

MT and Cuz should have come back in for Cisco and Donte with about 3 minutes left when we had it down to 9 or whatever it was.

Those missed Cisco 3's could have been Thorntons to shoot, and I NEVER want Cousins playing only 26 minutes in any game for the rest of his career.

if smarts afraid of hurting MT's feelings by taking him out of the starting lineup then he would be playing him right now.

sometimes i feel like our coaching staff/FO doesn't have enough patience with young guys like the main guys should be out there right now who cares if we win or loose they should have this experience. this is why our young talent cant grow, one day they can play 40 mins and be in at crunch time and feel like main players on the team and the next day they may play 5-10 mins or not at all, you cant jerk around with young players like that, your either committed to them or not. there's no such thing as a quick fix.

It's almost like he sometimes hangs in the background to let the team try to build chemistry and get it done amongst themselves, and then when they fail he says "Ok let me show you how it's done..."

No reason not to have MT out there and move TWill to the 3. But Smart can't sub a player or two for some reason, has to be complete lineup changes.

We probably could have survived such a pee poor shooting night, but that is what happens when your smallball offense gives the opposition so many opportunities and you can't play a lick of defense due to scheme. Our 4th Q lineup just needed a shooter.

Just don't get how Smart seem to put a lineup out there, and say it's all or nothing. Then replaces the lineup with another, and tells them it's all or nothing. Why doesn't he, or why hasn't he shown the capability to see what a certain lineup needs, and add it. Maybe a shooter. Maybe a ballhander. Maybe a rebounder. Maybe another defensive guy.

I never see those changes. Just all or nothing.

Yes. This is also what happens when you play run and gun. Some nights, shots just aren't going to fall and you have absolutely nothing to fall back on.

Yes. This is also what happens when you play run and gun. Some nights, shots just aren't going to fall and you have absolutely nothing to fall back on.

That's pretty much what happened. On nights when everyone is on, you'll score 120, but you can't establish consistency that way.
