[Game] Nets @ Kings 3/31/12

#92
The issue has been the guards making bad passes the entire 3rd. That and the defense. The team is switching on the baseline screens and crosses, leaving one of the Nets wings open and team over-rotates (as it always does) and either leaves Morrow wide open or is out of rebounding position.
Yes, unfortunately it's been a combo of everything tonight. However, I would never, ever put my money on a Hayes/Outlaw frontline.

You guys are being unreasonable. We were only down 7 with momentum, then Cousins left. When Cousins left the floor we should have seen an IT and Reke guard lineup. Instead we saw that crap.

Edit: And someone taller than Hayes at C... thats another factor that has been killing us all season.
You can't just claim a player kills momentum with out a proper explanation, it's a cop out. In a game where we give up 91 through three how you can blame the one guy playing defense on the wing is what I find unreasonable.

Outlaw is my least favorite Kings since .. hmmm.

I guess Kenny Thomas, but I didn't hate Kenny Thomas as much as I hated the money he was making.

Outlaw sucks the entertainment out of my face.

I don't have a proper explanation, thats why i'm so conflicted on how i feel about Reke. We've played Great when he wasn't around and when he was off the bench...we have spurts of greatness when he starts but tend to lose it as the game goes on...we sub him out and we go on runs... which is exactly what was happening this game until Cousins got in foul trouble and it got away from us.

Pulling Reke at the 7min mark really helped. What the F is this? Is our coach literally an idiot?

Every player on the team, including Evans, is on the minus side of the plus/minus equation....except Isaiah Thomas who is at dead even during his time on the floor. (Through 3 quarters)

Reke got pulled, NJ turned it over twice, we scored twice. Reke's fault, clearly. Never mind him running all over the place trying to guard his man, and helping cover both IT/MT.

You are trying to make a conclusion without taking any other factors into account. Maybe you are right but there is no way to prove it. That's why these statements are aggravating. How did we do with Jimmer in there, for instance? What was the point swing?

A lot of that is s***ty lineups by Smart which don't defend well. Not a fan of +/- over a short period of time, let alone a single game. Far too many other things influencing it.

As a team we suck. We are scoring more and giving up more points. We are not winning. We have one of the worst records in the league. No matter how you shuffle stats or whatever anybody thinks explains this, we still suck as a team. Can one person truly be isolated to blame this on? we are near the bottom of the league and this is Tyreke's fault? Give me a break. This is getting very, very old.

Kings are minus 10 with Fredette in the game.

Well, ive seen the momentum pick up this entire season when subbing Reke out of the game. Tyreke in the starting lineup seems to get us off to decent starts but as soon as the defense starts collapsing the paint because he has no other offensive tools he just disappears or starts making ridiculous plays trying to get our team back in the game. I don't question his effort and I don't hate him as a player... he just doesn't fit with the way we've built the team, and admittedly this team is built like crap so their is still some time to create something special that Evans can be apart of.

Agreed. The amount of morons that apparently follow the kings is alarming.
