Not remotely. It's when you get the minutes that matter. If Evans is on the bench while the game is still in the balance, and doesn't come back until the game is out of control, then it doesn't matter that Evans has more total minutes at the end of the game. What matter is that, when the game went to ****, Thornton was out on the court throwing up bricks, and playing poor defense, and Evans was sitting in a folding chair, watching him.

so right now its our starters vs Bkn bench. were getting a taste of what its like for all the teams that play against us and our great rotations

MT kept Reke on the bench in both the 2nd and 4th, while he wasn't playing well on either end. MT did not deserve 26 mins tonight. Reke needed more than 31. Reke played some at point w/ MT which I liked, but that was minimal.

ahahahahahaha. Cuz will never have the athletic ability and determination that Howard has. Please stop. Howard's defense is light years ahead of Cuz.
I find this slightly humorous coming from the guy that compares Jimmer to Steve Nash.
I don't like IT and Jimmer both getting play time. Pick one and let them develop their game. If you are winning/losing by a lot at the end, sure, give the 3rd guy some garbage time. But until then feature the players you want to develop the most. Thomas with 14 minutes and Jimmer with 10 isn't doing either one of them a favor. Give one of those guys all those minutes and watch them improve much faster than splitting the their playtime into these small chunks.

Uh, that wasn't what he said, and yes Cuz has more all around talent than any center in the game.
Kinda funny you're the one saying this after comparing Jimmer to Nash. What's more likely, Cuz becomes a top 3 center or Jimmer becomes a two time MVP ala Nash?

Put it this way...Jimmer is closer to Nash than Cuz is to Howard. Unfortunately, Jimmer is Smart's whipping boy (for reasons undisclosed) and Jimmer can't prove what he can do. I have faith this won't last for long, though...Jimmer will be traded, Smart will be fired, or Smart will be forced from the higher ups to play Jimmer.

Reke can play (and has played) 3 positions. MT deserves 30+ minutes every night just like Evans. It's the 10 minutes that went to Jimmer, or the 16 that went to Johnson as the backup 3 that need to be redistributed, not Thorntons 26. We can't keep playing Brooks/Thomas/Jimmer. Smart needs to pick 2 out of those 3.
And none of it had to do with with Smarts relationship with Thorntons family. It just didn't. That's what I was responding to, really. Like I said .. If the accusation is favoritism that it's clearly not there. Evans has kept the starting job while having a sub par year. Evans played more minutes. Evans averages the same amount of minutes.

It's not even a good comparison. Cuz is closer to a Webb/Moses Malone hybrid than Jimmer is even to Bibby, let alone Nash.
The original post was that D12 wishes he had Cuz's offensive talent, which I'm sure he does, as his offensive game is pretty poor. Why are you even comparing Cuz defensively to D12? But no, you're completely wrong. Cuz has busted D12's a** on a couple occasions. I don't want to bash on Jimmer but lets just say he's done nothing much against NBA starting PG's, and that's being kind. Case and point. Watson, a backup, had his way with Jimmer tonight.
At some point (quite possibly in the not-too-distant future), I suspect said fanboy will have finally worn out his welcome.

you have officially ventured into the realm of caricature. demarcus' rebounding skill is already closer to howard's than jimmer's vision will ever be to nash's. beyond comparing apples to oranges, your inability to recognize cousins' rather obvious talent (especially in light of his occasionally-dominant performance tonight) does not lend you credibility in the evaluation of the very player you come here to incessantly build up--with near-religious conviction, as if jimmer, clearly a team player, actually needs your selfish ra-ra'ing...

What in the world would substantiate you saying Howard's offensive game is poor and Cousins' is better? That is absolutely silly. Howard is a much, much better finisher around the basket. Howard is much stronger in the post. Howard has much better go to moves. What, you think Cousins is better because he can shoot an outside shot? lol, come on...I don't want my big bruising center to linger outside of the paint. Cousins' FG% for a center is atrocious at 40.5% and 43.7% for his career. To say Cousins has more offensive talent is mind boggling! Maybe one day, but certainly not now and not even close.
