Toronto out of timeouts and Warriors steal their inbound. Warriors ball with 3.3 left.

The Jazz showed amazing heart in there win against the Pacers and PG13s 48, the refs killed them and they still managed to win

Utah's play is inspiring...they give it their all and show heart. They are one of the top 3 youngest teams in the league and they still find ways to win games so whenever I hear a team is too young excuse...spare me.

Coaching. Utah's success is, like, ninety percent coaching. The same reason why Boston is doing well with a roster that, on paper, is bottom five in the eastern conference.

Yeah i love watching the Jazz/Pistons in that regard in terms of heart if the Jazz ever get an above average Pg they could be lethal. Trading Kantar was the bezt thing they ever did. Orlando is another interesing young team I'm really enjoying also they hustle hard. That Andrew Nicholson has unreal skills, crazy post game and decent jumper.

Orlando is a perfect example of a team playing like their coach used to. Hard, effort and hustle. They have a winning record since the Dwight era and even they improved before the Kings have.

indeed. a commitment to defense goes a long way towards elevating a roster's ability to succeed. orlando is top-10 this season in defensive efficiency, and they're arguably playing above their talent level as a result of that effort. they're only a couple of games above .500, but they're in the conversation for the 8th seed in a competitive eastern conference, while the kings' bottom-three defense has them once again in the bottom-three of a weakened western conference...

This draft is so stacked Devin Booker is going to be a stud reads the game so well and can play with and without the ball.

What worries me about the Kings now is that some separation is beginning to happen with the 8th seed. As of this moment, the difference between the Kings and the 8th seed is 3.5 games.

The Kings play the Jazz tonight and even without Gobert it is not an easy win. If the Kings lose tonight, there is a real chance to go 4.5 games down.

From Tom Ziller's GMIB daily newsletter:

WTF: The Lakers benched D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle. Neither seem terribly pleased. Byron Scott said he needed to mix up the lineup because what was out there wasn't working. So he benched ... two of the three ... young players ... who need to be developed. I really don't get the Randle thing: he plays his tail off and is pretty clearly the team's second-best player already (behind Jordan Clarkson). But you can't bench Kobe. Maybe play him fewer than the 32 minutes he got in Toronto on Monday? After the game, Russell put a brighter if somewhat snarky spin on the situation: playing without Kobe means he can actually do stuff.

NBA says Hornets big man Al Jefferson has been suspended without pay for 5 games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.

Well, wasn't that just the height of stupidity?

For some reason it reminds me of the leak from an unspecified player's NBA Combine interview several years ago...

Team: We hear you like to drink, smoke, and burn bridges.
Player: OK, I drink and I smoke, but whoever told you I burned down bridge is a damn liar!

...I wonder if that was from Jeff Adrien's year...

so now even Anthony-Towns is shooting three's....all I need to see is Jahlil Okafor shoot them too and it will be the extinction of back to the basket big men

Grizzlies seem to always be involved in these last second miracle plays

It's really only two scenarios with Memphis...they are either in a close game or they are getting blown out. Before this game, OKC took care of them with ease.

To be fair, before his year at Kentucky, KAT was known as an outside-in big who didn't necessarily have down-low skills.

That was also the dumbest shot possible to take and off course he drills it, he still had like 3 secs when he let it fly from half court.
