game ends in 4 OT. I wonder, what was the last game to go that long?

Some trivia:

Atlanta/Utah in 2012 was the previous 4OT game, before that you have to go way back to 1997. Happened ten times now in league history.

Also two 5OT (last was in 1989) games and one 6OT game in 1951(featuring the Kings back when they were the Rochester Royals.)

The Portland Trailblazers have been in three of those ten 4OT games in their existence.

Never thought for a second the Pistons would become one of my must watch teams props to them so far without Brandon Jennings and Jodie Meeks being where they are I love the gritt of KCP, Morris and Stanley Johnson.

the Pistons are better without Brandon Jennings, who is now playing their D-League. They need to get rid of him IMO. Meeks has been nothing but injury prone since arriving to Detroit. Irrelevant player IMO. Morris has been a pleasant surprise, he still doesn't bring it every night but for a role player, you know what you're getting most nights out of him. Drummond needs to get a offensive game all ready so he can just be the most dominant big man in the league. I'm still waiting...

The Pistons, as they exist in 2015-16, have never played with Brandon Jennings. How can you say definitively that they're better without him?

because Brandon Jennings is a chucker with low shooting percentages and no defense? I know....Reggie Jackson is the same thing, huh?

They had a really good run with Jennings once they got rid of Smith than he got injured same can be said for Jodie, they lack scoring off the bench its there biggest weakness those two would help big time. Plus i don't think SVG will play the two Pgs together ever, a chucker off the bench who can breakdown the D is exactly what they are missing right now.

I would not be surprised if the Grizz try move Zbo he's at a point where his declining offense no longer makes up for his defense and Marc Gasol seems like a terrific big man in terms of his style of play to go small ball. I wonder if they have any interest in Anderson or Morris, I think Zbo could help other teams but it could be time to move him.

No one has pointed this out...but

Memphis is playing really small...
Conley/Lee/Barnes/Green/Gasol

So, is this the end of grit n grind?

It's really a move out of necessity more than anything else. The Grizzlies are fading fast. Zach Randolph is old and falling apart and the guy they used to plug in to keep the grit and grind going wound up signing with us over the offseason. When Brandan Wright is your third big man, you almost really have no choice but to go small.

(Should also point out Green is 6'9" so it's not like he's super undersized for the four)

Derrick Williams had nearly 1 million dollars worth of jewellery stolen from him by 2 women he picked up......lol at least he's spending money 'wisely" maybe he plans to invest in gold.

Even worse he leaves that crap laying around in his apartment lol. Does he not know what a safe is for?

Kobe lists the top 5 best players he's faced during his career: MJ, Lebron, Kevin Durant, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Clyde Drexler.

Maybe I over-analyze this, but can he ever say anything without coming across as being incredibly insecure? Hakeem and Clyde were on their last legs in Kobe's rookie season and he only faced them a few times in which they did nothing notable.

This is an obvious troll of Shaq, Duncan, and Wade who he all has reasons to be jealous of. Surprised he didn't go full narcissist and put AI on there over Lebron.

Kawahi Lenoard is destroying every elite SF put in front of him, this guy is as big a freak as there is in the NBA he made PG13 and Butler look like children out there. To me Lenoard is a superstar more so than Anthony Davis.

His improvement has been tremendous. Came into the league as a guy who couldn't shoot, then became a 3&D guy and look at him now!

Kawhi Leonard is not a superstar...stop it.
Why not? He's the best defender in the NBA he locks down the elite of the elite and can put up 18 to 20 on great efficent play and has a near unstoppable fadecaway jumper and is lethal from 3. If Kawahi is not a superstar than the only two superstars in the NBA are Curry and Lebron.

No one else in the NBA does what he does in particular at the level he's doing it at on BOTH ends.

Agreed. He's third in the NBA in ORtg, first in DRtg. Best two way player in the game. Unless we're talking about marketability here, he's absolutely a top 5 to 6 player in the league.

Watch the Malone coached Nugs lose a 20 point first half lead to the Lakers last night. Kobe has been looking better. Nuggets looked a little chaotic in crunch time, but I liked watching Gary Harris, nice shot.

so is Paul George a superstar as well then?

IMHO, George is rather closer to being a superstar than Leonard is. I've never been of the opinion that superstar-dom should be assigned based on talent alone, or even talent + accomplishments. To me, superstar-dom requires some combination of talent, accomplishment and popularity.

to me, Leonard needs to prove he can carry a team through out the season without the assistance of a Parker, Duncan and Ginobili. I know they are fossils now but until they are gone and Leonard get's handed the keys as the franchise, I'm going to go on and hold off on the superstar talk and simply label him a all-star instead.

I cannot believe that Dirk is now 6th all time on the scoring list. Unreal achievement and much props to Dirk, what a European icon he has been and will have a statue in front of the Mavericks arena one day.

So it's a BS label mostly? Put it this way, would you rather have Carmelo (superstar according to the media) or Kawhi Leonard?

Those are two different questions, and one does not inform the other. I would also rather have Giannis Antetekuonmpo than Carmelo Anthony, and he's not a superstar, either.

And yes, it is mostly a BS label.
