Although, if you can, keep away from the Razor release. The DVD transfer is appalling; the film is extremely scratchy and the subtitles are horrendous.

Oliver Twist(2005) the Roman Polanski version. That is the best picture I saw all year. I highly recommend it.

Bacheha-Ye aseman (Children of Heaven) (1997)- Majid Majidi

Don't be put off by the fact that it's an Iranian film. It's an extremly simple, yet charming film that should be required viewing for those people who believe that anything Islamic is evil. This is the kind of film I would want my children to grow up watching, rather the crap that's out there today.
