Somewhere, Eric Musselman is maniacally laughing
I doubt he can find his sense of humor this shortly after being canned.

Well, stacked is all relative. If you look at the stacked draft of '96 for example, you have guys like Nash, Camby, AI, Kobe and Ray Allen all showing up in one year, which is pretty amazing. But by pick #10, you're looking at Erick Dampier, or Peja at #14, and that was only because nobody else was scouting Europe yet.
2003 started out with LeBron, and Bosh, Wade and Carmelo followed soon after. But #10 was Jarvis Hayes, #14 was Luke Ridnour. In '84, there was Hakeem, Michael, and Charles Barkley, but #10 was Leon Wood and #14 was Michael Cage.
Those are the 3 draft years which were considered to be the best in recent history.
We're likely to get a starter, but not a star.
perhaps we can land or end up like what happened to Paul Pierce? (he fell to # 10 the right?...or am i mistaken?)
Go KINGS!
And perhaps his repeat NCAA title??
Yes and no. We COULD get lucky and beat the odds and have our one lnely ball drawn 1-3 and would then get that respective pick. OR a team below us could get lucky and get drawn for them in which case we could DROP! In the words of Dirty Harry "Do you feel lucky?" Given the Kings luck track record they better have a few 1-13 options drawn up or better yet work out a trade up deal (not going to happen).I don't get it...
Did they draw the ping pong balls already???
Can we not get any better then 10th?!
theory....musselman knew his job was in jeopardy so he really tried to win in an effort to:
2) screw us in case we dump him.
If you buy into the notion that the draft is rigged, then, considering that Stern wants the Kings to stay in Sacramento, we might get the top pick, which would create some buzz and more support for the team, leading to an arena deal.![]()
It astounds me that people would think something like that. I had a lot of problems with Eric Musselman's inability to get the Kings to win, but I cannot even think of ONE incident that would lead me to believe he would do something so juvenile and petty.
I still put a lot of blame on the stupid blankety-blank Clippers for coming to that game asleep and not even being able to take it away from our bench players in the 4th quarter. What stupid losers.
Wait, am i missing something? The lottery hasnt happened yet, has it?

If we don't get the 1,2, or 3 pick then we will pick 10th. I think that's how it works although I could be wrong.
How long has this rule been around? So there's no way we can get 4-9?

1.8% chance of #1, 2.1% chance of #2, 2.5% chance of #3, 84.6% chance of #10, 8.7% chance of #11, and 0.2% chance of #12.
I would be bummed out on picking Hibbert, Hawes or Conley.
And yet all of those guys probably have a higher high end than Splitter (as well as likely a lower low end).
no chance... im sorry but Hibbert could be the classic big slow bust. and im sorry but Hawes? his stock is going down. Im pretty sure all the NBA teams are catching on that for your last line of defense of the basket a offense minded Center is Crap. That ship has sailed. If you are 7ft tall and cant block shots go play horse for money somewhere. i dont want anyone compaired to Brad Miller. I would love to have Golden states Biedrins and Splitter is more talented... hmm
