Kobe


Article is very true to a certain extent. Kobe's regular season and playoff averages are way below MJ, but you got to take into account that Bryant has always been second fiddle during those runs. Offense always ran through Shaquille. Mike was always the first option, from year 1 until retirement.

Kobe's first couple of years were off the bench and then second option.

And when Wilt was playing, I don't think they had three in the key (another rule to slow Wilt down). He basically just set up a lemonade stand in from of the basket.

In short, Kobe's a great scorer, but even the blindest Laker fan can see he's got a way to go before he's even close to MJ or Dipper.
