They’re actually pretty similar offenses, which is sort of the problem. our personnel shouldn’t be running the Warriors system.
It will be interesting to see what happens from here on out. Does Walton give up and go back to much of what he did last season, or does he start pushing someone like Len up the rotation? Len is the only player since Walton has been here that showed he can run his high post sets. It's still obviously no way to go, but it would show at least some degree of intelligible adjustment if he does.

I feel like Fox started slow last year too, I’m not too worried.

But we need to fire Luke ASAP!
The only thing is he's really playing Fox like he did the season before last. So many plays with him standing off the ball and expected to produce in 5 or less seconds in iso. Holmes or the other bigs just sitting under the rim. Even moments with Tristan "The Dream" Thompson demanding post touches. WTF is this ****? lol.

Too many turnovers and underperforming on offense by key players

Strong games again by Davion, Holmes, and Barnes

A guess a good game by Tyrese if we’re looking for the Evan Turner line. I want a little more scoring though

Fox was terrible, he’s struggling getting to where he wants on the floor consistently…and that really isn’t a problem he has ever had so hopefully is just an early slump.

TD has been awful so far

Lukeball, my friend!

Fox has not been playing great the last 2 games. Buddy Hield need to go...they can't afford to rely on his offense while not contributing anything on defense. It's like they're fighting...should we put him in...but he can't play D but we need to score. They cannot afford to play Buddy because he just don't contribute anything other than shooting. But this Kings team need a lot of help than just a 1-dimensional player that can only shoot and that's why whenever they have Buddy on the court, the team's defense drop significantly because the stars on the other team is going to pick him out to defend like Steph did tonight. They ain't going to pick Fox or Mitchell.

Tonight's game is also won by coaching. Steve Kerr's offense is just better and they just have better flow to their offense.

It would be really nice if Fox and Hali could play like they’re capable of.
That's a whole different kind of issue though. They aren't being used like they were when the results were seemingly OK. Rather than letting Tyrese play as a secondary ball handler off of Fox he's been a first line guy. With Fox sitting in Tyreses spot. Not good. Not smart. Might work at times, but won't set you up to carry anything home in the long run likely.

Add Fox to the "Ima suck after you've paid me" list so far in this early season. I can't for the life of me understand why he appears to be incapable of making a driving attempt and actually kicking the ball out when the defense collapses. Guys who only score on layups, shoot 60% from the line and 15% from 3 and A/TO of 1.3 can typically be acquired for a lot less than $30mil per season.

And yes I'm mad because I keep rooting for him to actually take over games but he's playing like Buddy Hield, Mikki Moore and JT had a dumb love child minus the 3 point shooting at the moment. Warriors drive, defense collapses, kick out for open 3. Fox drives = attempt to draw contact or turn the ball over.

The Kings were consistent - they sucked from start to finish. You could see they were playing for a draw, while the Warriors were biding their time for the win.

Fox led in the suck department. Not only did he suck on offense, his defense sucked as well. He made no impact on the floor at all.
I disagree, his turnovers made quite the impact for the Warriors.

because That’s what their guys are good at. You have a guy with the court vision of Draymond, you let him QB your offense and use your elite off ball shooters off the ball. We’re passing the ball in to our bigs like they’re Draymond but that’s not our game at all.
Are we even passing the ball to our bigs, because all I saw was random side to side passing outside the 3 point line

What part of taking over a game includes playing off the ball and taking 16 shots with some of them being a bail out your team variety? He's struggled but on the flip side they are taking large chunks of the offense that were his last year and placing them elsewhere at the start of the game so why would you expect much different? This was the concern with them turning this into a guard team because it might have meant this. A crop of guards doing the same guard things you want Fox to do rather than them playing off of those things while he's doing them.

I’ve never seen a team with this many guards avoid the one thing that guards and shooters would benefit from. Has anyone in the local media even asked Luke the question?? It’s so bizarre and annoying as ****
Gee, lets let arguably the best catch and shoot player run point while Fox watches. Why isn't this working? lol. Clearly you'd think it was so out of the box that opposing teams would just implode from the shock alone.

Someone also needs to go ahead and kick the microwave too. That’s what I do when my appliances crap out. Just wail on them until they decide to work again.

Table next to me at my local sports bar filled with 6 warrior fans wondering why the kings are building their team around Fox. As an outsider I've wondered this for a while now. Fox doesn't look like a leader. You guys could get some serious pieces if you traded him.

Realistic question. What team is trading for DeAaron Fox and what do they give up? I'm a big Fox fan, but the guy has major liabilities with his game, namely a bad three point shot, average passing, and below average decision making when attacking the basket. Is there a contender or borderline contender that wants him running their offense with a heavy usage rate attached? Is there a non-contending team that wants to take his contract and build around him with those liabilities?

During crunch time, I just don't feel comfortable having Buddy Hield in the game. His defense is too weak and getting exploited. Kings are better off with Davion Mitchell along with Fox and Haliburton. I just don't like how Buddy play the game. Davion does so many things great that help the team...he even look to box out when the ball is in the air, when do you ever see Buddy do that? Never. Kings need to look to trade Buddy and Bagley ASAP and stop wasting investing in these players that have glaring weaknesses.

As soon as he's in the game, Warriors looking to switch Steph on Buddy cuz they know he sucks on defense.

Probably could have gotten Simmons for Fox. Perhaps we still can.

Dude c'mon, quit with the excuses. Why would I expect much different, oh geez I dno maybe cos he's literally the franchise player supposed all-star that we're paying $30mil a year? Playing off the ball might be an excuse for stagnant offense (also it's not, because lots of people wanted Haliburton to play more with Fox to allow Fox to be off the ball more), it's no excuse for shooting 9-15 FT (60%), 3-19 3P (16%) and averaging 5 TOs a game.

You can't on one hand claim that his stats last season weren't empty and at the same time say that it's not his fault that he's doing more poorly this year cos GUARDZ. It's not as if Fox isn't getting the ball in his hands, he's just driving looking to draw contact on layup attempts and turning the ball over in the process, dribbling it off his shoe, losing it off his fingers. You know what happened the one time he drove, stopped and pulled up in the paint? He scored!

I see we’ve reached the randomly turn on the teams best player for no good reason portion of the Kingsfan suffering ouroboros.
Don't mistake legitimate criticism on an early season lacklustre performance for "randomly turning on the team's best player". Save the wisecracks for other NBA teams in the offseason like you normally do.
