hawes is a wuss... i wonder if the grizzlies would trade thabeet for hawes? i know its early but man is he a wuss.

sergio with 10 assists in 26 minutes... wow... even with the 4 turnovers thats pretty good in less than 30 minutes.

By the time of this writing I am sure the folks at Arco will have you standing 7'5" at least, which suffice it to say is considerably taller than any member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, whom the rest of your teammates have found to be little challenge. Meanwhile you have managed to rack up 2 rebounds and 5 fouls against a team which starts perhaps the softest Center in the league (present company not inclduded), a SF at PF, and who have been guarding you with a 6'9" backup PF with a scar on his chest from open heart surgery. Might I suggest a new brand of shoe for you to wear?:

durant is better than every player on our team but thats about it... sergio has 9 assists but 4 turnovers... im not watching or listening to the game, is he forcing it? gamecast just says bad pass, how bad of a pass is it? is it beno bad or steve nash bad? i dont know... because he has almost half of the teams turnovers. granted we only have 10 but 4 is almost half.

Since none of us can see it, its hard to tell. I do know the knock against him in Portland was that he was too turnover prone. Hopefully he'll be able to improve that part of his game.

Yeah I keep holding out hope that Hawes will show some development. Disappointed so far.

I know, I'm totally sorry. What you see on the court is not any indication of the way I intend to play on a regular basis. However, I can't go into the paint and bang around because Jason and Donte have told me that it's hot lava. If I stay in there and get burned up before the real season, I'll be useless.

This is something I just cannot understand. He has the post game that could make him a nightmare to defend. He can mix it up by having a jumper that is potent even from behind the arc, yet he has no toughness what so ever. He has the tools to be a legitimate force in the paint, especially on offense yet I am yet to see a softer player than Spencer.

FFS kid grow a pair and bang inside. You are a big boy, FFS USE YOUR size!. Whimp!

I know its hard to say this when ive only been able to watch 1 pre season game, but listening to radio feeds / watching box scores I dont know how you can start Mason over Casspi at this point.

Casspi has better stats in almost every catagory .. and its not really even close. Mason has no future with this team and he hasnt proven anything during the pre season, Omri has earned it.

I like Durant, but the dude plays no defense at all. He still has time, but he has flaws in his game. I'm not trying to diss him, but add a little perspective. He's not in the same class with Kobe, Garnett, etc..

The OKC announcers, who were amazingly even-handed throughout the game, also mentioned that the Thunder really stepped up the D in the last quarter, which might have had something to do with it.

You guys need to lay off Spencer. He's going to have games like this, especially in the pre-season. I know based off the last few gamse it looks like he isn't developing, but I'm going to take his progress during the last half of last season into more consideration than this pre-season. He was ballin' last year. He'll be fine.

he's no kobe but he is still better than our best player, martin.... all i said was that he is better than everyone on our team, the kings... durant isnt even the best player at his position in his division... he has holes in his game but he's young, tall and can shoot the ball.... he's about the same height, size and age as greene. actually he's 7 months younger than greene.
