[Game] Kings vs. 76ers 10PM ET 7PM PT

Karl: “I said to the guys this morning, we’ve played 30 games and all of a sudden it’s a tug of war to get you to commit to running.”

Both Rondo and Karl have confirmed there have been problems since this morning.
In other words, as @hrdboild said previously, he addressed the team that is leading the league in pace, and told them that they weren't "committed" to running?

I'm surprised that someone didn't rush across the court and strangle him.

Now I know who we need to add to this team!

Maybe someone did, and that's what Rondo was alluding to. :)

Nitpick: Mitch Richmond and Sarunas Marciulonis were both elected to the Hall of Fame in 2014, as players. What did either of them ever win? For that matter, what did Chris Mullin ever win? Dude dined out on his Dream Team status for the entire second half of his career.
So exceptions are now the majority? You know EXACTLY what I meant and choose to play the semantics game.

Also, at least the Rock and Mullin helped the Warriors make the playoffs.

What is Latrell Sprewell up to these days?

Quit moving the goalposts. You said that Hall of Famers are winners. You were wrong.

Also, at least the Rock and Mullin helped the Warriors make the playoffs.
I dunno... It kind of sounds like you're saying that they each needed help from another Hall of Famer to get into the playoffs.

I said that HOF level players are winners. Just because a very small % of them have struggled in their careers doesn't change the fact that an overwhelming majority of them have competed (also, it is the basketball HOF, not NBA HOF, and Mitch was part of the greatest ball club every assembled). And again: even the players you listed won more than DMC has, so my point that he is NOT a HOF player stands. Good day.

oh no! you are changing to Slim's color. Does that mean you are slowly agreeing with him?

(maybe not...)

Well, if a gold medal is all it takes, then Carlos Boozer has it in the bag.

Hall of Fame players are Hall of Fame players. And most of them, as it turns out, have also won. But winning is not a barrier to entry. Vince Carter is probably going to be elected to the Hall of Fame.

Vince made the playoffs.

Listen, I'm not sure why you're being so thick about this. Players make the HOF by making contributions to the game, or have performed at such a high level that it merits recognition in history. It just so happens that in the NBA, a great player can make a vast impact on a team's success, therefore great players typically make their teams better. Is it 100% sure thing? No, but it happens way, way, way more often than not due the aforementioned dynamic. This is the obvious point I was making, and I'm sorry that you choose to argue semantics.

Cousins has yet to lead his team to a 30 win season. He's not a HOF player. He had the talent and potential, but he's never getting to Springfield.

Way to ignore my point. Continue to bait somebody else, and enjoy waiting for that HOF ceremony for Derrick Coleman 2.0.
Talk about ignoring the point. I'm not defending Cousins. I don't even like Cousins. You won't find his name mentioned in any post I've made about this subject, besides this one. I'm pointing out the flaw in your argument.

There is no flaw, as I have clearly addressed your issues in the post you conveniently ignored. Here it is: http://kingsfans.com/threads/kings-vs-76ers-10pm-et-7pm-pt.63554/page-22#post-1221703.

Contrary to what you or Brick may believe, Cousins has not proven to be of the ilk that gets nominated to the HOF. I'm sorry if you cannot deal with that truth. Good day Sir.

I said all of that much more succinctly, three posts earlier. And you tried to claim that it was in support of your argument, when it really supports mine.

I don't really care whether DeMarcus Cousins is a HOFer. You have me confused with the other mod. I am, however, a pedant. You said that Hall of Famers are winners, and I proved you wrong, and then you started moving the goalposts.

Richmond had some early success playing alongside one-and-a-half other Hall of Famers, and then he ended up in Sacramento. A team where Mitch Richmond was the best player didn't win thirty games until 1994-95. You know how many years Richmond was in the league by then? Seven.

Not moving goalposts, just not playing semantics. You knew exactly the point I was making and decided to play games. Good day Sir.

Tired of hearing about that guy! He's so good but LSU is sorry as hell what kind of alleged superstar can't get his team to win in college. LSU best win is vs Gardner Webb

Get his weak ass out of here

Simmons is the real deal. Yes, LSU is terrible but Simmons is the only real player on the team. He made a mistake going there, and the only reason he did, was because his uncle is an assistant coach there and I believe his father went there.
